ObjectiveThis topic researched clinical observation on treating the lumbar disc herniation through pricking blood with cupping, and provided for the clinical treatment of blood stasis type lumbar disc herniation a more simple and effective method, and provided the theory and practice basis for the treatment of the disease.MethodsOn February 2015 to January 2016, I selected 60 patients who were included in the standardin in my tutor’s massage clinic of guangzhou university of Chinese medicine YiFuYuan. This topic used randomized controlled methods, and 60 patients who conformed to the standard were randomly assigned to the pricking blood with cupping treatment group and normal cupping method group, 30 cases each. Two groups at the same time with the same basic treatment (massage), used the JOA lumbago disease curative effect evaluation form and short form McGill pain scale (SF-MPQ) for objective evaluation. Using SPSS 19.0 software for data entry and analysis.ResultsAfter statistics analysis, the gender, age, course of the two groups of cases had no significant differences. They were comparable. After two courses of treatment, with rank and inspection, P<0.05, the comparison of the overall clinical efficacy was considered statistically significant, showing that two groups of patients after the treatment has good effect, but the total effective rate of treatment group was obviously higher than that of control group. The comparison of JOA scale scores, before treatment two groups of the JOA score was not statistical significance. After the end of treatment, two groups of patient’s score had significantly decreased, suggesting both treatments were equally effective. JOA score between two groups after treatment, P<0.05, suggested that the effect of treatment group was better than the control group. Comparing the JOA period, Treatment group and control group having significant difference, was considered statistically significant. The comparison of SF-MPQ scores, before treatment, the scores of the three marks were significant. After treatment, scores were significantly improved. Between the two groups, P<0.05, the difference was considered statistically significant, indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group.ConclusionAbout the treatment of blood stasis type the lumbar disc herniation, pricking blood with cupping method and ordinary cupping method at the same time cooperate based therapy (massage) can achieve satisfactory curative effect, but the pricking blood with cupping method can significantly improve the level of overall curative effect and relieve all aspects of the patients with symptoms, improve the JOA and lower SF-MPQ integral scale, is better than that of ordinary cupping method.
