Objective:To study the correlation between T2DM and lung cancer, and provide reference for clinical prevention and treatment of T2DM complicated with lung cancer. Methods:The present study selected the patients with T2DM, lung cancer and T2DM complicated with lung cancer from December 2005 to December 2015. All patients were divided into observation group (the information was more complete, n= 100), control group A (100 lung cancer without T2DM) and control group B(100 T2DM without lung cancer). Investigation contents include:The gender, age, nationality, BMI, pathological type, smoking, course of diabetes and lung cancer, imaging manifestations and the laboratory index were analyzed.Results:1.The ratio of lung cancer in T2DM patients was higher than that the lung cancer of hospitalized patients at the same period (2.42%,0.76%),there were significant differences (P<0.01).2. The ratio of lung cancer with T2DM was higher in age≥60 patients than that the<60 age patients with T2DM (4.58%,1.30%) there were significant difference (P<0.01). The ratio of lung cancer in the different gender and nationalities with T2DM were no statistic differences(P> 0.05)3.Compared with the pathological type in patients without T2DM, the ratio of the squamous carcinoma was increased, and the adenocarcinoma was decrease in T2DM complicated with lung cancer patients, there were statistic differences (all P<0.01).4.The CEA levels of adenocarcinoma was higher in the T2DM complicated with lung cancer than that the small cell and squamous carcinoma, there were statistic differences (all P<0.05),the CEA levels of small cell and squamous carcinoma were no statistic difference (P>0.05).The CA-125,CA-199 and CA-153 levels of the different pathological types were no statistic difference in the observation group (P> 0.05). The HbA1c,FPG and LDL-C levels were lower in observation group than those the control group B, there were statistic differences (P<0.05), the CHO,CREA, TG and HDL-C levels were no statistic difference between the observation group and the control group B(P>0.05).5.The average diameter of tumor was 3.64cm in the observation group. The ratio of lung cancer located in the upper lobes was higher than that the middle and lower lobes, there were significant difference(P<0.05,P<0.01).6. There was no relationship between had or not had metastasis of lung cancer and T2DM(P>0.05), the lung cancer metastasis was no correlation with the weight, BMI and smoking in the observation group (P>0.05),.Conclusions:The ratio of lung cancer was significantly higher in the T2DM patients than that the hospitalized patients at the same period, which indicated that T2DM might increased the risk of lung cancer, age≥60 with T2DM patients had high risk for lung cancer, the ratio of squamous carcinoma was highest in T2DM complicated with lung cancer, the CEA levels of adenocarcinoma was higher than that the small cell and squamous carcinomas.
