Currently the treatment of iron deficiency anemia effective. But the side effects of iron inevitably affects the use of iron, so that part of the iron deficiency anemia patients can not recover, so the search for effective and can reduce the side effects of treatment for iron became the most common medical problems currently faced by the one.ObjectiveBy Baohe wan combined with iron treatment of iron deficiency anemia with spleen-stomach deficiency, systems analysis before and after treatment clinical symptom score, iron incidence of side effects and relevant changes in laboratory tests to understand the clinical symptoms of anemia and iron Reduce side-effects of Baohe wan combined with iron treatment of spleen-stomach deficiency, and the use of Chinese and Western medicine theory were elaborated anemia spleen and stomach deficiency using Baohe wan joint mechanism to reduce the side effects of treatment for iron, and to provide for its feasibility theoretical and practical basis for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia to seek more effective and safe treatment.MethodsThe 34 cases of qualified subjects were randomly divided into two groups, the experimental group of 17 cases,17 cases in the control group, the test group received a joint Baohe wan and Iron polysaccharide complex capsules, treatment for 30 days. The control group received Iron polysaccharide complex capsules, treatment for 30 days. Observe the changes of clinical symptoms, blood routine and iron metabolism before and after treatment, as well as the side effects of the treatment of iron.Results1. According to TCM symptoms curative effect judgment standard, the two groups after treatment of TCM symptom score decreased and clinical symptoms improved. The total cure rate of the group and the control group were 41.17% and 17.65%. By Non-parametric test the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), described two treatments differ in TCM syndromes. During treatment, the test group iron low incidence of side effects. After treatment, serum iron, serum ferritin, transferrin saturation than before treatment increased in iron metabolism. The difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05) by paired t test, indicating that the two groups could significantly improve patient iron metabolism-related indicators. While the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05) of the test group and the control group after treatment of iron metabolism indicators by the t test, described that the two groups no difference in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in iron metabolism-related indicators to improve on.ConclusionBaohe wan combined with iron treatment of the spleen-stomach deficiency of iron deficiency anemia in TCM symptoms efficacy was significantly better than the iron treatment, and can effectively reduce iron occurrence of side effects.
