| [Background] Viper bite is a serious threat to the physical health of the working people, especially in the vast rural areas. Doing a good job in the treatment of patients with snake injury is very important. Combine traditional Chinese and western medicine for treatment of the viper bite is widely recognized. It namely modern medicine (Agkistrodon halys antivenin+anti-inflammatory, etc.) with Chinese traditional medicine to be taken orally or applied externally, and has an exact curative effect and first aid effect. In particular, the medical treatment in patients with viper bite patients with local and systemic symptoms have a unique advantage, greatly accelerate the pace of improvement of the disease. At present many studies of external application of all kinds of oral medicine, the hospital made Viper anti-snakebite Medicinal Broth based on the characteristics of local viper bites. It has been widely used in clinic, and the effect is significant. But there is no prospective data support, so this is the goal of this study. The aim is to prove its efficacy by modern clinical research methods.[Objective] This topic from a snake injury patients with local and systemic symptoms and signs, explores the Viper anti-snakebite Medicinal Broth in the treatment of patients with viper bite therapy effect. TCM diagnosis and treatment for viper bite plan provides the basis of the evidence-based medicine, provide more reliable clinical treatment for viper bite. At the same time can be made into traditional Chinese medicine preparation, in order to convenient popularization and application.[Methods] This study is a prospective randomized controlled study. A total of 90 patients aged 18-75 years of Nantong Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine poisonous snakebite patients were randomly divided into three groups. Group 1 is pure western medicine treatment; group 2 is western medicine treatment & Jidesheng antivenornous tablets orally; group 3 is western medicine treatment & Viper anti-snakebite Medicinal Broth.6 days of continuous use was observed in setting the observation point (on the day of admission and on the third day,6th day) groups in clinical efficacy indexes (including local signs and symptoms, systemic symptoms and signs) and related biochemical indexes before and after treatment of the score and the number of value changes. Data is analyzed after the end of all cases treated and observed.[Conclusion] 1 Clinical symptoms:group 3 is 96.7%, the effective rate is 76.7% in group 2, group 1 is 50%. The significant efficiency of group 3 is better than that of group 2, group 1, and the significant efficiency of group 2 is better than that of group 1. The three groups after three and six days of treatment, the local and systemic points are better than before treatment. After 3 days of treatment in the local integral, the 3 group is obviously better than that of group 2, and group 2 is better than that of group 1; in general integral, group 3 is better than that of group 2, and group 2 is better than that of group 1. After 6 days of treatment, in the local integral, the group 3 is obviously better than that of group 2, group 2 is better than that of group 1; in general integral, group 3 is better than that of group 2, and group 2 and group 1 show no significant difference.2. Biochemical indexes:Three groups can effectively reduce the patients with neutrophil ratio, ALT, serum creatinine (SCR), CK-MB index, which in the neutral are rate and ALT, group 3 is better than group 2 and group 2 is significantly better than that of group 1; in creatinine. Group 3 and group 2 have no significant differences, but the group 2 is much better than that of group 1; in the CK-MB, the three groups have no significant difference.Results suggest western medicine combined the Viper anti-snakebite Medicinal Broth has significant effect for viper bite, superior to pure western medicine treatment group (group 1) and the joint JiDeSheng snake medicine group (group 2), at the same time curative effect found in group 2 than group 1. |
