ObjectiveDiabetic foot (Diabetic Foot, DF) is one of the serious chronic complications of diabetes, and has a very serious disability and high cost of treatment, seriously affect the quality of life of patients. By observing the clinical curative effect of the treatment of 0-1 grade DF which is treated by Jiawei Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction, This study explores the effective method for the treatment of The early stage of DF, greatly reduces the possibility of DF development in the late, and promotes the healing of wound of the DF patients. Its significance lies in:1. It plays the advantages of Chinese traditional medicine such as simpleness、convenience、cheapness and effectivity, it plays a therapeutic effect at the same time greatly reduce the financial burden of patients;2. It reflects the thought of TCM "preventive treatment of disease",save for a rainy day, it gives effective traditional Chinese medicine intervention in the early stage of DF, promptly cut off the course, greatly improve the quality of life of patients; 3. This study not only provides objective research datas for the treatment of DF and the prevention of DF which is treated by classical prescriptions, but also lays the foundation for further research in the future. This study by mining classical prescriptions and according to the characteristics of The early stage of DF cut the Decoction, at the same time, it observes the effect of Jiawei Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction in the treatment of DF which belongs to the syndrome of TCM of Qi Deficiency and the Blockage of Blood and Skin Meridians, the objective is to find a suitable prescription.Methods51 cases of patients who meet the criteria of the patients were selected from the department of endocrinology in the first Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, then divided into treatment group and control group randomly。Firstly, Basing on the establishment of voluntary, filled in the basic information table for comparing the differences of general basic data such as age, sex, course of disease and so on, it suggests that the baseline of the two groups were consistent with comparability, the treatment group is asked to drink Jiawei Huangqi Guizhi Decoction, the control group is asked to oral Mecobalamin tablets and give intravenous infusion of alprostadil injection, these two groups will be treated for three months. Made comparison before and after treatment about the patients’Fasting blood glucose、 Postprandial 2 hour blood glucose、hemorheology、Erythrocyte sedimentation rate、Ankle brachial indexs, meanwhile referd to the Total systemic and Foot symptom scale (Appendix3、4) to evaluate the systemic and foot symptoms before and after treatment, overall to evaluate the clinical curative effect of treating diabetic foot of the two treatments。 The whole data analysises were done using software SPSS22 in computer, the statistical methods is that:Count data use chi square test or rank sum test, units of measurement can be expressed by means±standard difference(x±s), comparison between groups adopt independent sample t test, comparison within group adopt paired samples t test. If them do not accord with normal distribution, between and within the groups, them should adopt the non parametric test.At last, P<0.05 has significant difference, P<0.01 think there is a very significant difference.ResultsBy comparing within groups and between groups before and after treatment, initially considered the Decoction improves on blood sugar without obvious therapeutic effect; The improvement on hemorheological indexes it is better than that of simple western medicine treatment; The improvement on ABI the Decoction compared with western medicine group treatment has obvious curative effect; The improvement of the syndromes of traditional Chinese Medicine it is better than the western medicine group. In general, the efficacy of the Decoction which treats the 0-1 grade of DF is better than the control group.ConclusionFrom the clinical results, we can observe that the effect of the treatment of DF in the early stage is better than the control group, it is worth to further study the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine combined with Western medicine.
