The Clinical Study Of Electro-acupuncture Combined With Gua Sha Therapy On Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

ObjectiveModern people’s rhythm of life with the development of society more and more quickly, living habits, work also occurred in the huge change, the incidence of cervical spondylosis showed a rising trend, and age tends to be younger. This topic by comparing the treatment group (Electro-acupuncture with Guasha) and control group (electro-acupuncture) before and after treatment in patients with clinical symptoms of change to observe the effect of Electro-acupuncture with Guasha in the treatment of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy clinical curative effect.Methods60 cases of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy were selected according to the inclusion criteria, and were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group from the acupuncture clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. The treatment group was treated with Electro-acupuncture combined with Guasha therapy and the control group were treated with electro-acupuncture. Two groups of patients the next day treatment 1 times,5 times for 1 courses,2 consecutive courses of treatment, first days after the end of the 2 period of treatment, and then start the second course of treatment. Patients were recorded VAS score and 《Tanaka Yasuku symptom scale》 Overall Score before and after treatment respectively. Then all the date and the clinical effect were analyzed by SPSS 20.0.Results1. Comparison of pain scores:Before treatment, the VAS score of the two groups was statistically significant (P>0.05). Before and after treatment, the VAS scores were analyzed by paired t test, there were significantly statistical difference(P<0.05). VAS score after treatment, The treatment group and the control group were treated by statistics, there were significantly statistical difference(P<0.05).The difference beteen the two groups before and after treatment was compared, there were significantly statistical difference (P<0.05), the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.2. Comparison of the symptoms and signs scores:There were no statistical difference between two groups before treatment in the symptoms and signs scores comparison (P>0.05) by Independent sample T test. Before and after treatment, Overall Score were analyzed by paired T test, there were significantly statistical difference(P<0.05). The symptoms and signs scores comparison after treatment, there were significantly statistical difference beween the two groups were treated by statistics (P<0.05). The difference beteen the two groups before and after treatment was compared, there were significantly statistical difference (P<0.05), the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.3. Comprehensive clinical efficacy comparison:After 2 courses of treatment,14 cases were cured,9 cases were markedly effective,6 cases were effective,1 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 96.67%. In the control group,8 cases were cured,7 cases were markedly effective,10 cases were effective,5 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 83.33%. There were significantly statistical difference beween the two groups were analyzed by Rank test.Conclusion1. Electro-acupuncture combined with Guasha therapy; nerve root type cervical spondylosis has good curative effect, analgesic fast, safe and reliable is economical and effective method, it is worth for clinical use.2. Electro-acupuncture combined with Guasha therapy is more effective than Electro-acupuncture treatment of better curative effect and comprehensive therapy in the treatment of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy is better than that of single therapy.
