Clinic Study On The Effect Of Sea And Jiaji Points By Electro Acupuncture On Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

ObjectivesObserve the curative effect of Sea and Jiaji points by electro-acupuncture on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.MethodsUse the Method of Randomized Controlled Trials,60 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were randomly divided into two groups:one treated with Conventional electroacupuncture as control group, and the other treated with electro-acupuncture Sea and Jiaji points as treatment group,30 cases in each group. There are 17 Men and 13 women in treatment group;Their Average age was 43.67±11.10 years;And sick time on average is 13.23±4.85 days.18 men and 12 women in control group, average age was 43.97±12.35 years, occurs this disease on average 14.17±5.67 days. There were no significant difference both of these two groups about gender, age and sick time by Statistical analysis (P >0.05). And two groups were comparable. When they are in the hospital first time,each patient is required to complete the VAS and "Tian Zhongjingjiu Symptom Rating Scale". For treatment group acupuncture main on Quchi, Xiaohai, Tianjing and Jiaji points.For control group were Houxi,Geshu, Hegu, Taichon and Jiaji points. Each group cure once a day, and 5 times a week, as 2 weeks a course,1 courses in all. The two groups before treatment and 2 courses later, VAS and Tian Zhongjingjiu Symptom Rating Scale used records their pain.ResultAfter 1 courses of treatment group and control group treatment in the "Tian Zhongjingjiu symptom scale" score values could significantly increase (P< 0.05) and the VAS score was significantly reduced (P<0.05). But in symptom score, lives and works integral, signs integral and the degree of pain, treatment group was significantly better than the control group.Between the two groups was significant difference In efficacy. Treatment group and control group, the total effective rate was 90.00% and 80.00%, the two groups were significantly different (P<0.05). That two groups were on the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy are effective, but efficacy of the treatment group effect is better than the control group.ConclusionBy observing the clinical efficacy of Sea and Jiaji Points through electro-acupuncture treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, we can know that Sea and Jiaji Points electro acupuncture group was better than conventional Acupuncture control group never in their clinical symptoms, impact of work life, signs, or the degree of radicular pain. Tip Sea and Jiaji points by electro-acupuncture on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is effective This method is Safe, effective, economical and convenient, can be used as a new clinical treatment of cure this disease, and it is worthy to be popularized.
