BackgroundsPublic medical institutions of medical service quality is directly related to people’s physical and mental health and vital interests, also directly reflects the public welfare nature of public medical institutions, medical service quality is the modern medical institutions to conduct, in the fierce competition in the medical market is medical institutions the first essential factor of the competition.At present, China’s medical institutions management is often used as the main measure of patient satisfaction evaluation of medical institutions to provide medical service quality factors. An important means of patient satisfaction is the administration of medical institutions, the hospital can refer to patient satisfaction of medical staff of internal assessment, health administrative departments can also according to master the basic status of the people’s health needs, supervision of medical institutions in order to co-ordinate planning medical institutions of further development direction.In August 2013, to carry out the fifth national health services survey. In this paper, we selected residents in Shandong Province to the medical institutions and medical staff satisfaction is related to the data, based on statistical analysis, and the influencing factors of satisfaction were studied.ObjectivesIn order to understand the degree of satisfaction of residents in Shandong province for the medical institutions and medical personnel, and to explore the gender, age, education, occupation, social and demographic factors, and the influence of factors such as perceived service satisfaction. The residents of Shandong province so as to meet the demand for health services, improve medical service quality. To provide a theoretical basis and policy suggestions for the administrative department of health.MethodsData from the fifth national health services survey data, take the family health survey questionnaire, questionnaire survey and medical personnel mechanism combination. The research sample covering 17 cities in Shandong Province, a total of 20 counties (cities, districts),100 towns (streets),200 villages (neighborhood). In each sample Village (neighborhood) in a random sample of 60 households, the province’s total of 12000 households were selected for health service survey. Investigation of all process elements of all aspects of the implementation of quality control quality control, ensure the scientific integrity of the data collected, authentic. Using SPSS and SAS statistical analysis software for data collection and analysis, descriptive analysis, univariate analysis, multivariate analysis a variety of statistical methods, the degree of satisfaction of medical institutions and medical workers and its influencing factors of the residents in Shandong Province.ResultAccording to the analysis of residents in Shandong province for the medical institutions and medical staff satisfaction and the influence factors of the related data statistics, the main results are as follows:Residents in Shandong Province, satisfaction of the outpatients of medical institutions and medical personnel for 83.45%, by logistic regression analysis was used to analyse the influencing factors of outpatient satisfaction, shows that outpatient satisfaction the main factors as follows:medical costs (OR=3.45), patients to medical staff trust degree of difference (OR=2.44), listening condition serious degree of difference (OR=1.76), waiting time long (OR=1.27).Residents of Shandong Province, hospital patient overall satisfaction with the medical institutions and medical personnel was 76.74%, by logistic regression analysis was used to analyse the influencing factors of outpatient satisfaction, it can be seen that the hospital patient satisfaction the main factors as follows:hospitalization medical expenses high (OR=3.66), patients to medical staff trust degree of difference (OR=2.14), hospitalized patients in the ward environment difference (OR=1.72), condition clear explanation degree (OR=1.69), NCMS (OR=0.919).Conclusions and suggestionsAccording to the statistical analysis of the data and research results, the author put forward the following suggestions:1 Strengthen the construction of medical ethics, to create a harmonious doctor-patient relationship.2 Optimize medical service process, improve the quality of medical services.3 Control medical costs, reduce the burden of patients.4,Strengthen the construction of hospital information technology, logistic management.
