Based On The Perspective Of Supply And Demand,researching For Community Health Services Among Elderly In Urumqi

Objective: Based on the perspective of supply and demand, studying the community health service demand and utilization status of elderly and the supply situation in Urumqi,analyzing the influence factors, putting forward the measures to solve the problems, to improve the level of elderly community health service utilization and improve the elderly health. Methods: Randomly selected 5 community health service center in Urumqi.Combined with questionnaire and interview research, using SPSS17.0 to analysis questionnaire data, using the theme framework to analysis and summary the interview data.Results: 1. The community elderly two week prevalence rate was 33.62%, chronic disease prevalence rate was 74.51%; At the same time with three or more chronic diseases of the elderly accounted for 19.83%, and the three high incidence of chronic diseases, in order:hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease. 2. Awareness of community health service institutions in the elderly was 98.77%, 81.05% of them are willing to accept the community health service.The degree of factors in order was awareness, chronic disease situation, marital status, educational level, gender, economic sources and self-reported health status. 3. The community elderly two weeks seeing doctors prevalence rate was23.4%. The major reason for unwilling to see a doctor was feeling sick light, self health care and unconvincing the service level of community health service center. 4. The community elderly’ hospitalization rate was 56.28%. 76.81% chose the city level hospital.Only 19.91% chose the community. 5. The elderly in community health service comprehensive utilization rate was 90.39%. Influence factors including social demographic factors, economic factors, ginseng, accessibility services, health and knowledge. 6. The comprehensive satisfaction was 67.91%. The impact factors from big to small in order was the service quality, accessibility, medical expenses, institutional environment and pharmaceutical products. 7. Community health service supply was general. 50% thought services cannot satisfy the elderly health technical personnel required. The affect factors included policy implementation, the higher value,compensation, benefits, cooperation for the future development prospect and the coordinate of elderly, etc. Conclusion: Community health service is an interactive system of social supply and demand. It need three aspects from community health service supply,demand and the government work together to increase the rate of health service supply, to improve community health service utilization and satisfaction.
