Investigation And Countermeasures On The Supply And Demand State Of Elderly Community Health Services In Guangzhou

Objective:As the aging of the social accelerated continuously, the rising demand of theelderly community health service brought new problems and challenges to the society,the family and health institutions. This study is under the understanding of elderlyCommunity health services at home and abroad supply situation, through theinvestigation of the elderly residents in guangzhou for health, needs, and utilization，and the investigation of the medical staff of community health institutions for jobsatisfaction, service supply, evaluation, to find out the problems in the process ofelderly community health services utilization and supply in guangzhou region, andthen combining with actual，Recommendations were proposed to improve thefairness and the validity of the community health services, and then hope the growingold people health service need can be meet by the use of limited health resources.Methods:Documentation Method, On-the-Spot Investigation Method, Statistical AnalysisMethod, Questionnaire Method and Comparison Method pass through the paper. Before doing the research, I had read a large number of domestic and foreignliterature and books about the elderly community halth srvices. Then based on theexisting literature and reality in guangzhou area, Self-designed questionnaire for themedical staff of community health service centers, elderly patients (elderlyresidents),to final determine the questionnaire content after adjustment of thepre-survey and insulting relevant experts.In September,2011to October,2011respectively according to complete community health service center (station) medicalpersonnel and elderly patients (elderly residents) questionnaire.Finally the results ofstatistical analysis, analysis method includes descriptive analysis of frequencyanalysis.Results:Currently，there are following common problems to Community health servicesin the supply of old age in Guangzhou:"Community first diagnosis system"hard toachieve；The content the elderly community halth srvices focus on medical treatmentand ignore the prevention, Between community health staffs and elderly residentsthere are differences in the cognitive services；Community health workers and theelderly residents for the service content cognition difference; Community healthworkers degree is not high, job satisfaction low; Community door-to-door service isyet to be perfected.Conclusion:The solutions should be as follows: Increasing investment and support ofgovernment; Perfect the service system, optimize the management system; perfect theappropriate the eldery community health health service system from the domestic andforeign advanced experience； improve Community health workers’treatment; reformdrug supply system; Improve the compensation mechanism;strengthen communityelderly health service propaganda, improve the elderly residents health consciousness; active elderly residents’health file； strengthen the talents construction; build socialendowment system with other social welfare pension institutions.
