Objective:To investigate the correlation between a few common pathogenic mi croorganism infections of reproductive tract in the third trimester of pregnancy and pregnancy outcome. Methods:633 women who suffered from pathogenic microorganism infections in third trimester of pregnancy were selected and divided in the o bservation group.Meanwhile,413 healthy pregnancy women were selected as the con trols. The rates of adverse pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two gr-oups,and the causes of adverse pregnancy outcomes were further analyzed. Results:There were 491 cases of Mycoplasma infection(46.94%)and 195 cases of Candida mycoderma infection(18.64%) in the observation group, significantly higher than in the control group.Compared to the control group, the rates of premature birth,premat-uree rupture of membranes, puerperal infection, fetal distress and neonatal infection were significantly higher(P>0.05).However,the differences in the pregnancy outcom es between patients with single pathogen infections and those with multiple infectio-ns were not statistically significant except in the rate of premature birth( P>0.05).Conclusion:Pathogenic microrganism infections of reproductive tract in third trimme-ster of pregnancy can cause an increase in adverse pregnancy outcomes.Prevention and intervention measures should be taken to reduce the possible adverse pregnan cy outcomes.
