Clinical Study On Added Kushen Lotion In Treating Acute Hand Eczema

Objective Observation of the clinical curative effects of added kushen lotion in treating acute hand eczema,observe the role of added kushen lotion in releasing lesion,itch and other aspects of acute hand eczema.And discuss its mechanism in the treatment of acute hand eczema, so as to develop new ideas and new methods for the clinical treatment of eczrma.Method Randomly grouping patients who have acute hand eczema, and watery application with added kushen lotion as the TCM treatment group and in the same time establish take application with hydrocortisone lotion as its control group from western medicine.Each group has 30 samples. Save patient’s related information during the research (lesion score before/after the treatment:itch score and photos). Each treatment is one week. After the first treatment and second treatment,observe related before/after indicators from two groups respectively, and conduct statistical analysis.Results (1) General information comparison:There were no significant differences in gender,age,disease type,duration of illness and hosipitalization time betwen and there was no ststistical significanca (p>0.05) (2) Lesion score comparison:Patients in both groups have improvement in lesion after the first week and the second week. However, the TCM treatment group achieved better result in both first week treatment and second week treatment (p<0.05),not statistically meaningful.(3)Itch score comparison:After the first week treatment, patients in both groups have less itching but no significant difference (p> 0.05), not statistically meaningful; After two weeks of treatment, itching further reduced, and the TCM treatment group has better result (p<0.05), the difference was statistically meaningful.(4)After two treatments,the TCM treatment group has total effective rate as 96.7%, which 4 cases were cured,25 cases were effective; 0 case was efficacious, and 1 case was ineffective; In the other hand, the western medicine treatment group has total effective rate as 80.0%, which 1 case was cured,14 cases were effective,9 cases was efficacious, and 6 cases were ineffective. The TCM treatment group was significantly better than the western medicine control group (p<0.005),statistically meaningful.Conclusion Introduce on added kusen lotion in the clinical treatment of acute hand eczema, can significantly improve the clinical symptoms. Although it takes longer to see the effects than hydropathic compress with glucocorticoid,in the long-term, its outcome is better than glucocorticoid. It can be used as an new option for the clinical treatment of ipatients who have acute hand eczema, and apply in the clinical.
