| Objective:This topic is the study of TQMMIV for primary angle-closure glaucoma optic nerve protection, whether or not it has the mechanism of promoting nerve regeneration, through the observation of the changes of before and after treatment vision, visual field, RNFLT.Methods:32 cases (60 eyes) in patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma optic atrophy were selected at the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from February 01 2015 to October 31 2015, belong to stagnation of liver qi. Patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group is 15 cases (30 eyes), the control group is 17 cases(30 eyes). The treatment group takes TQMM IV, one dose daily, take in the morning and evening last 45 days. The control group takes vitamin B1,B12, three doses daily last 45 days, followed up for 3 months. Observe the changes of vision, visual field, RNFLT, indexes of stagnation of liver qi in two groups after treatment. The results use SPSS17.0 software package for data processing.Results:1.It has significant difference (P< 0.05) that comparing the vision of treatment group before and after treatment. The control group has no statistical significance (P>0.05). After treatment, comparison between treatment group and the control group has significant difference (P< 0.05).2. It has significant difference (P< 0.05) that comparing the vision of treatment group before and after treatment. The control group has no statistical significance (P> 0.05). After treatment, comparison between treatment group and the control group has significant difference (P < 0.05).3. It has significant difference (P< 0.05) that comparing the RNFLT of treatment group before and after treatment. The control group has no statistical significance (P> 0.05). After treatment, comparison between treatment group and the control group has significant difference (P< 0.05).4. It has significant difference (P< 0.05) that comparing the Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome integral of treatment group before and after treatment. The control group has no statistical significance (P> 0.05). After treatment, comparison between treatment group and the control group has significant difference (P< 0.05).Conclusion:TQMM IV can improve the vision, visual field, RNFLT of patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma optic atrophy, effectively enhance the patient’s visual function. TQMM IV have an important function on protecting optic nerve. Its mechanism is not only inhibit the apoptosis of RGCs, but promote the regeneration. |
