The Clinical Observation Of Conditioning By Strengthening The Training Of The Foot And Calf Muscles Combined With Herbal Fumigation In The Treatment Of Plantar Fasciitis

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of conditioning by strengthening the training of the foot and calf muscles combined with herbal fumigation in the treatment of Plantar Fasciitis, scientifically analyze and compare the changes of the patient’s indicators such as symptoms, signs and so on, and provide a scientific basis for standardized clinical treatment of Plantar Fasciitis.Methods:Sixty patients were selected from the people who were treated in the Department of orthopedics of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University Of Chinese Medicine during the period from August 2014 to November 2015 and met the Plantar Fasciitis diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria(In particular, the patients can not point out the specific tenderness point,or patients not suitable for acupotomologic therapy and closed treatment). The samples were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. Using a randomized method, the samples were divided into treatment group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. Loss of follow-up cases were not valid. The treatment group was treated with conditioning by strengthening the training of the foot and calf muscles combined with herbal fumigation, while The control group was treated with massage combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment. The patients of both groups were treated for two weeks, that is two courses of treatment, and the recurrence rate of patients was followed up after a month. Observe the changes of pain and clinical symptoms, signs and the recovery of foot function before and after treatment of the patients of the two groups, and compare the combined effects of the two groups after treatment.Result:1.After treatment, the clinical symptoms, signs and foot function of the two groups were significantly improved, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).2. The overall efficacy of the two groups was essentially flat, and there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).3. After a month of treatment, the recurrence rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference was significant (P<0.05).4. There were no adverse reactions in the two groups after treatment, and there were no significant abnormalities in the blood, urine, stool, liver and kidney function tests before and after treatment.Conclusion:1. The clinical efficacy of Plantar Fasciitis by the use of conditioning by strengthening the training of the foot and calf muscles combined with herbal fumigation is exact, and it can significantly reduce the clinical symptoms and signs and significantly improve the foot functional status of the patients.2. The recurrence rate of conditioning by strengthening the training of the foot and calf muscles combined with herbal fumigation to treat Plantar Fasciitis was low. The methods with higher self mastery, stronger operability and more convenience is a kind of the treatment of plantar fasciitis which is easy to operate and master, non invasion, safety, economy and easy to accept and promote.
