| Purposes: To safeguard the mental health of the students majored in nursing, the research status of the psychological pressure source, treatment, and mental health for pre-practice students, together with their correlation analysis, is presented in this paper, also exhibiting important influence on improving their career quality and life planning. The details of the level of psychological pressure source, treatment, and mental healthy state for the students majored in nursing are described; A series of personal information is considered as the factors which influence psychological pressure source, pressure level, treatment, and mental health of the students majored in nursing, including registered permanent residence, the only child or not, class leader or not, family economic situation, etc.The correlations among the level of psychological pressure source, treatment, and mental healthy state is analyzed.The psychological pressure source, treatment, and mental health are the important factors affecting the healthy psychology of the students majored in nursing as well as their psychological state in their practice training and career.Methods: 727 students majored in nursing are selected from Tieling Health College by cluster sampling and interviewed by questionnaires in the present study. The questionnaire fabricated in combination of the sources of pressure questionnaire, the simplified coping style questionnaire and the general health questionnaire(GHQ-20), have been released to the pre-practice students with different sex, grade, registered permanent residence, class leader or not, the only child or not, favor in nursing or not. The available and valid questionnaires are coded. Using the Epidata program, the data is input and checked. Subsequently, data statistical analysis is conducted using SPSS program(Ver. 17.0), mainly including independent T-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson analysis and Linear RegressionResult: 1.The patient’s nursing is the biggest pressure source of nursing students before practice, followed by nature of work and content, employment, supervision and evaluation, knowledge and ability, and teaching management. Junior college nursing students and secondary nursing students felt the pressure of different aspects, and those who don’t like their major confront all aspects of the severe pressure before practice; nursing students with poor family economic situation confront greater pressure. 2. The pre-practice students of different grades(P<0.001), with different political landscape(P=0.037) exhibit significant difference in positive coping style. The students of different sex, and different origin insignificant difference in negative coping style(P>0.05). 3. Whether the nursing students are in favor of nursing or not exhibit significant difference self-affirmation of mental healthy(P=0.002); The pre-practice students of different grades(P=0.012), and the only child or not(P=0.022) exhibit significant difference in anxiety factor; and the only child or not exhibit significant difference in scores of mental healthy(P=0.014). 4. There is significant positive correlation between the factors of pressure source and negative coping style, negative correlation between the factors of pressure source and positive coping style.Conclusions: 1. The patient’s nursing is the biggest pressure source of nursing students before practice, followed by nature of work and content, employment, supervision and evaluation, knowledge and ability, and teaching management.2. Junior college nursing students, those who like nursing, and students in the good family economic condition are more inclined to take a positive way when they are faced with the internship before the various aspects of pressure. 3. Whether the nursing students are in favor of nursing or not exhibit significant difference self-affirmation of mental healthy; The pre-practice students of different grades and the only child or not exhibit significant difference in anxiety factor; and the only child or not exhibit significant difference in scores of mental healthy. 4. The pressure source of nursing students before practice and coping style might affect mental health. |
