Objective To analyze the impact of the placenta location at 11-15 gestation week and the outcomes of pregnancy so as to take more sufficient prevention or treatment measures, and adverse pregnancy outcomes. Methods The author selected pregnant women who took prental examination and kept their penatal record in the second affilicated hospital of Chongqing Medical University from first July,2013 to 31st Dec,2013. The initial records were kept at 11-15 gestation week. A total of 320 cases were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion. The selected pregnant women did transabdominal sonography(TAS), and the exam images were saved in the ultrasonic work station. By their placenta location at 11-15 gestation week, the pregnancy women were divided into three groups:the posterior wall group (group A, n=134), the anterior wall group (group B, n=111) and near the palace angle wall group(group C, n=75) The pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women were tracked by electronic medical records system, included the delivery position, PPH, the shape of placent and placenta increta and so on.At the same time the author analyzed the condition of newborns (including the birth weight, getational age and complications), and compared the pregnancy outcomes in different groups. The data was analyzed by SPSS 19.0.Results The pregnant women’s age, gravidity, multiparity and previous curettage in the posterior wall group (group A,n=111),the anterior wall group (group B) and near the palace angle wall group(group C) had no statistical significan difference. The three groups of pregnant women was comparable. The incidence of placenta increta in group C (10.67%) is obviously higher than groupA(2.99%) and group B(2.70%)(P<0.05), the difference is statistical significan, there is no statistical significance between group A and group B(P>0.05). The incidence of PPH of group C (6.67%) is obvious higher than groupA(0.75%) and group B(0.90%), the difference is statistical significant<0.05), whereas there is no statistical significance between group A and group B(P>0.05).The incidence of abnormal placental shape in the three groups were:2.70%,1.49%, 2.67%,the difference between the three groups have no statistical significance(P>0.05). The incidence of fetal abnormal location in the three groups are:8.01%,6.71% and 5.33%,the difference between the three groups have no statistical significance(P> 0.05).The getational age, birth weight, the incidence of preterm labor, fetal macrosomia, full-term low birthweight and asphyxia neonatorum have no satistical significance^> 0.05).Conclusion The placenta location at 11-15 gestation week is related to placenta increta and PPH. Placental located near the palace angle wall has an higher probability of the placenta increta and PPH than those placentas located on the posterior wall or on the anterior wall. So, for those pregnant women,we should take more sufficient measures to avoid PPH.
