Analysis Of The Change Of The Indication Of Cesarean Section And The Measures To Reduce The Rate Of Cesarean Section

Objective: By a retrospective analysis of the indications of cesarean section in the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University for 6 years, we try to analysis the effect factors of the cesarean signs and find measures to reduce the cesarean rate according to the different factors. At last, through our effective control and intervention, the proportion of Obstetrics and Gynecology actual cesarean section will be reduced.Methods: A retrospective analysis of the indications of cesarean section in the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University for 6 years. The clinical data of 21540 pregnant women in the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2008 to December 2013 were selected as the research object, and the clinical data of 8221 cases of cesarean section were used as the actual research object.Results: In the past six years, the proportion of the actual cesarean section in obstetrics has decreased obviously, and the proportion of actual cesarean section in 2008 was 40.29%, while the proportion of the actual cesarean section in 2013 has dropped to 36.29%. Secondly, before 2011,“Mother requested” was the first operative indication, since then,with the increased rate of cesarean section in the strict control and scar uterus, The rate of cesarean section with "previous cesarean section" as the indication had replaced; Thirdly, the same as the decreasing of cesarean section rate, maternal and child outcome showing a clear trend of improvement, had leading level in the domestic three referral hospital.Conclusion: With Chinese medicine and medical technology constantly updated progress strengthen of pregnant women in the stage of pregnancy, enhanced health education, weight control and treatment skills can contribute to reducing cesarean section of actual proportion, but still needs policy support, public opinion, and good team work.
