Systematic Review Of IBS(IBS-D) Treated By Soothing The Liver And Strengthening The Spleen

Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of IBS (IBS-D) treated by soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen。Methods:According to the systematic review method, we searched the library of chengdu university of TCM VIP journals integrated service platform; wanfang database; Tsinghua tongfang series of CNKI database (the main package repository In 2014, the latest data); Super star read show academic search; CALIS foreign database and Es biomedical journal database, and manual retrieval of the part of the core journals of library, and through the baidu, sogou, Google and other Internet and clove garden, love love medical medical BBS database search related literature, the time limit in 2003-2014, incorporated into and exclusion criteria as defined by the selected literature, literature of into accord with relevant quality evaluation, through Meta5.2 software for meta analysis data.Results:Into the study of 17, a total of 1724 patients with irritable bowel syndrome, the Jadad scores are low quality research literature. After a Meta analysis results showed that soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen to treat the clinical curative effect of irritable bowel syndrome in general better than western medicine control group [RR=4.42, 95%CI(3.26,6.10), P<0.00001];Compared with control group, treatment group can improve the total score of syndromes [WMD=2.51,95%CI (1.78,3.24), P<0.00001];Improving abdominal distension [WMD=0.38%, CI [0.18,0.57], p=0.0002<0.01]; Improve abdominal pain [WMD=0.62,95%CI (0.28,0.96), P=0.0003<0.01];Improve diarrhea [WMD=0.29,95%CI (0.05,0.53), P=0.02<0.05]; Improve bowel movement properties: [WMD=0.78,95%CI (0.51,1.05), P<0.00001];Bowel feel [WMD=0.55,95%CI (0.00,1.09), P=0.05), and cure patients with long-term prognosis is better than western medicine control group, treatment group recurrence rate is lower than the control group, the adverse reaction is lower than the control group.Conclusion:This study suggests the liver spleen in the treatment of IBS-D with western medicine can improve the clinical curative effect, the adverse reactions occur rate is low, the long-term prognosis is good. But because of the research into the quality is not high, there is a publication bias and the deficiencies of the existing evidence is not fully prove liver spleen method of treatment the curative effect of IBS-D and its safety and long-term outcome, therefore, there is a need for large sample, high quality and multicenter clinical randomized trial to confirm.
