ObjectiveTo summarize the experience in surgical treatment for late-onset deep infection post tension-free hernioplasty.MethodFirst affiliated hospital of chongqing medical university were retrospectively analyzed in vascular surgery in July 2010 to August 2014, inguinal hernia without tension repair appeared late-onset deep infection the clinical data of 8 cases of patients, inguinal hernia without tension repair common postoperative infection with patch exposure, chronic purulence, chronic sinus tract, the mesh displacement of the leakage, intestinal fistula. All surgery patch out and use surgical treatment, the closed negative pressure drainage technology combined with postoperative wound local special treatment.ResultEight patients were completely removed the patch, cured and discharged, postoperative follow-up 6-24 months, an average of 18 months, no recurrence of hernia.ConclusionInguinal hernia without tension repair postoperative infection can be divided into shallow infection and late-onset deep infection, shallow infection involving the skin and subcutaneous tissue, through the treatment often can be cured, and late-onset deep infection involving the fascia and muscle, should actively operation completely remove patch, combined with the VSD pressure suction and wound dressing. Completely remove patch by operation by combining with the closed negative pressure drainage technology and wound dressing treatment of inguinal hernia without tension repair late postoperative deep infection, achieved good effect.
