The Clinical Research On Acupuncture Combiaed With Ear Acu-point Eraiment To Treat Simple Obesity Of Splenic Deficiency Syudrome

Purpose:Nowadays,the number of obesity is increasing,simple obesity is not only important risk factor of diabetes、high blood lipids and cerebrovascular disease,but also has in fluence on people’s mental health. As people’s awareness of the hazards of obesity deepened,there are more and more methods to treat obesity,so choosing a safe and effective method reducing weight is become all obese patients’ wishes. By researching on the effect of acupuncturing acupoints such as Daimai coupled with ear acupoint therapy in the treatment of simple obesity caused by the spleen asthehen and stagnation of pathogentic damp tapy,hope to look for a clinical treatment of obesity with stable effect,convenience and no side effect.Methods:Select 90 patients with simple obesity caused by the spleen asthehen and stagnation of pathogentic damp tapy from Physiotherapy Dept. Acupuncture &Combustion of Yuanping First Municipal Hospital in Shanxi Province,randomly divided into 2 groups. The treated group are treated with acupuncturing acupoints such as Daimai and ear acupoint therapy. The matched group are treated with pure acupuncturing acupoints and pure ear acupoint therapy. The treated group are treated with acupuncture at the following acupoints such as Yishu,Fenglong,Zusanli,Daimai,and Sanyinjiao,etc; assisted by ear acupoint at Shengmen,Kou,and Sanjiao,etc. Acupuncturing twice a day,15 times as a course of treatment,for two courses of treatment. Auricular seeds were kept in place for exactly three days,at which time the procedure was repeated for the same points on the left ear,30 days as a course of treatment. The three groups of patients were given appropriate dietary guidance. Women stop treatment in the menstrual period. Compare and evaluate WHR,BMI and clinical symptoms of the patients before the therapy and eight weeks after the therapy started. Daimai has the fuction of restrain main and collateral channels、adjust yin and yang, to make Qi and blood harmony. Especially belly fat patients have relationship with malfunction of Daimai. Another acupoint Yishu has promoting action on insulin secretion: it can reduce insulin secretion and increase lipodieresis to make patients lose weight.Result:Treatment achieved certain results. The total effective rate were 93.3% in the treated group with acupuncture and ear acupoint therapy,76.7% in the group with acupuncture and 63.3% in the group with ear acupoint therapy. The three group of patients have no statistic difference in age、sex and course of disease. After treatment,they have statistic differences(P<0.05) in BMI and WHR, the treated group with acupuncture and ear acupoint therapy has an advantage over the other two groups on the decrease of BMI and WHR.Conclusion:Research findings show that the treatment with acupuncture and ear acupoint therapy has an obvious advantage over pure acupuncture or pure ear acupoint therapy. During the treatment ear acupoint therapy has irritating effect,but this effect is not good as the other two approaches,so it can be seen as an auxiliary therapy. The treatment with acupuncture and ear acupoint therapy is worth of generalization because of more effective、convenient and economical and no side effect.
