Comparative Study On Clinical Effects Among Three Kinds Of Circumcisions

Objective: In order to study the clinical effects and complications of conventional circumcision,circumcision with Shang Ring and circumcision by using disposable circumcision suture device in the treatment of redundant prepuce and phimosis.Methods: 247 patients who were diagnosed with redundant prepuce or phimosis were classified into three groups.48 people had got phimosis,while 199 people had got redundant prepuce.48 patients were treated with conventional circumcision,102 patients were circumcised by Shang Ring, while 97 patients were circumcised with the help of disposable circumcision suture device.By analysing indexes about oreration and recovery situation after operation of the three groups,the cases were studied and analysied to evaluate and compare their clinical efficacy and complications.Result:In the conventional group,the blood loss(10.89±0.71ml) during the operation is much more than Shang Ring and disposable circumcision suture device circumcision groups(P<0.05).The duration(32.76±3.81min) and one hour after operation pain score(5.15±0.47) of the conventional way is obviously higher than other two groups(P<0.05). The time(22.50±1.34d) before wound heal of Shang Ring group is longer than other groups,but there is no notable difference in healing time between the other two groups(P<0.05).The money needed in circumcision suture device circumcisions group(2150.49±57.429 yuan)is much than other groups,but the conventional way for circumcision is the cheapest(P<0.05). Post 7 day pain score in the Shang Ring group(4.25±0.32) is the highest of all,on the contrary the score in the disposable circumcision suture device circumcisions group is the lowest of all(P<0.05).The satisfactory rate of the disposable circumcision suture device circumcisions group(97.0%) is higher than other groups(P<0.0125).The infection rate postoperation of the conventional group(29.2%) is much higher than ohers,while the disposable circumcision suture device circumcision group is the lowest(P<0.0125).Compared with other groups,the Shang Ring groups penile edema rate(29.5%) is much higher(P<0.0125).Conventional group got larger postoperative hemorrhagic rate(18.7%), the hmorrhagic rate of other two groups was the same(P>0.0125) in contrast.Comparedwith two other groups,the cmoplication incidence in conventional group is much higher than others,while the rate disposable circumcision suture device circumcisions group is obviously the lowest of all(P<0.0125).Conclusion:Circumcision with disposable circumcision suture device is of less injur,fewer complications after operation,quickness and facility for conducting.It bings much clinical effects than other two operating theory,while its range of clinical application is smaller than conventional circumcision,and the money needed for treatment is the most expensive of all.Shang Ring circumcision is a kind of theory with trait of utility and easiness,but it takes more time to heal the woud and make the patient feel severely painful when taken of Shang Ring.Though it costs little than other two ways when patient is treated by conventional way and it has a great scope of application,however it will get much complicatons and it is of much much complexity. To sum up, those three kinds of conducting methods have goodness and badness respectively.Decision of choosing which way to circumcise should be made on the base of patients’ intention and specific condition as well as comprehensive consideration of the patients’ many respects.
