Objective: At present, the incidence of AIDS was in prevalent trend,and sexual transmission is one of the main transmission ways. The pepolein the western region faced with a serious threat to the spread of HIVtransmission duo to prevalence of risk factors including drug and sex trade.Thus, social, economic and psychological problems have become moreserious. A number of studies confirmed that male circumcision wouldreduce HIV infection effectively in heterosexual sex. Because of simpleoperation, low-cost and high-yield of circumcision, it is considered as aprecaution that paly a key role in the control of HIV spread. However,circumcision was not carried out as expectation due to poor awareness andacceptance rate, especially in some high-risk groups of HIV infectionpopulations. This study is a systematic review about people's willingness,attitudes to accept circumcision and its influencing factors in differentsocial and cultural environment. It could help to promote circumcision, andthen reduce HIV infection in heterosexual sex. The results of this studywould provide important evidence for develop policies of circumcisionpromotion in the future. Methods: Eight databases including Chinese Biomedical LiteratureDatabase, VIP journal integration platform, China Knowledge ResourceIntegrated Database, WANFANG Data, Pubmed, OVID EBMR,BMJClinical Evidence, Web of knowledge were employed to retrieve data, andGoogle browser was used for comprehensive searching. The retrieve datewas from the day on which database was established to July2013.Literatures were screened and quality assessment according to predefinedinclusion and exclusion criteria and quality evaluation form.Result:24studies were brought in, including13African studies,4American Studies,5Asian studies and2Oceania studies. The main factorsthat influence people to take surgery to prevent AIDS were as follows,1.Facilitating factors, Custom or religious tradition that urge the surgery,Genital health or clear indications for surgery, understanding of the surgeryto prevent HIV and sexually transmitted diseases, support from family andpartner and elevation of sexual satisfaction.2. Hindering factors, Custom orreligious tradition that hamper the surgery, lack of confidence andunderstanding of surgery, surgical safety, surgery and additional costs, risksexual behavior and personal factors.3. Parents' opinion, based on personalfactors, part of the parents left the decision right of surgery to their childremoval of the above factors. In addition, there is no uniform view on thebest surgical time. Conclusion:1.At present, the popularization of surgery and relatedknowledge is the central part in promotion of MC surgery. Our focus is toformulate different educational modes and materials for the people.2. The support of government is essential. It is very necessary to provideeconomic compensation for the backward area.3. Meanwhile, we should not neglect the patient's psychologicalcounseling and education. it will enhance the strength of peer education andavoiding postoperative psychological disorders.4. We should avoid the surgery for Non-medical purpose and high-risksexual behavior.5. In general, we should formulate a manner consistent with our owncharacteristics combined with the actual situation, and achieve the purposeof prevention of AIDS by MC surgery ultimately.
