Expression And Clinical Significance Of Rab27a In Pancreatic Carcinoma

Objective:To study the expression and clinical significance of Rab27 a in pancreatic carcinoma.Methods:The expression of Rab27 a in pancreatic carcinoma and paracancerous tissues were detected by RT-PCR, Western blot and Envision two-step immunohistochemical method,and explore the relationship between the expression of Rab27 a and clinicopathological features of pancreatic carcinoma.Results:By RT-PCR and western blotting, the Rab27 a m RNA and protein expression in pancreatic carcinoma tissues(n=6) was higher than that of adjacent normal tissues(n=6)(P<0.05); The positive expression rate of Rab27 a in pancreatic carcinoma tissues was68.75%(44/64), and that in pancreatic tissues adjacent to carcinoma was 24.39%(10/41)by immunohistochemical detection, the difference was significant between them(P<0.05).Conclusions:Expression of Rab27 a in pancreatic carcinoma was related to pancreatic cancer differentiation, TNM stage and lymph node metastasis, however, was not related to gender, age and tumor location(P>0.05). Further research on Rab27 a is needed toidentify a new biological marker for the early diagnosis and provide a new direction and the clinical treatment of pancreatic cancer.
