【Objective】To study the Cav-1 expression in endometrial carcinoma tissues, hyperplastic endometrium tissues and normal endometrium tissues, and to investigate the relationship between the expression of Caveolin-1 in endometrial carcinoma and the clinicopathological parameters.【Methods】The expression levels of Cav-1 protein was evaluated by Immunohistochemistry SP method in normal endometrium tissues, hyperplastic endometrium tissues, endometrial carcinoma tissues. And we analyzed the relationship between the Caveolin-1 and the clinicopathological parameters of endometrial carcinoma.【Results】The results of immunohistochemistry(IHC) showed the positive staining of Caveolin-1 protein in endometrial carcinoma were mainly located in the cellular membrane and cytoplasm and is claybank or sepia. The expression of Cav-1 protein was3.09±0.62;1.02±0.35;0.85±0.23 in endometrial carcinoma tissues, hyperplastic endometrium tissues and normal endometrium tissues respextively. And the expression of Caveolin-1 in endometrial carcinoma tissues significantly higher than that in hyperplastic endometrium tissues and normal endometrium tissues(P<0.05). In endometrial carcinoma group, statistical analysis revealed that the expression of Cav-1 was not related to histological subtypes and ages(P ﹥ 0.05);the worse surgical pathologic staging shows higher expression(P<0.05) as well as the worse degree of differentiation the higher expression(P<0.05); the higher expression in regional lymph nodes metastasis than no regional lymph nodes metastasis(P<0.05).【Conlusion】The expression of Caveolin-1 in endometrial carcinoma tissues is higher than in hyperplastic endometrium tissues and normal endometrium tissues, which indicate that Caveolin-1 may play a role in the progress of endometrial carcinoma; the expression of Caveolin-1 was possibly associated with clinical stages, the degree of differentiation, and lymph node metastasis, which show that Caveolin-1 may promote progress of endometrial carcinoma. And it is expected to become a new target of early diagnosis and treatment of endometrial carcinoma. |
