Objective To Study the differences of Caveolin1and HDAC1proteinbetween renal cell carcinoma and normal renal tissues and its clinical significance,And the role it plays in the course of tumor progress.Methods To detection the expression of Caveolin-1and HDAC1protein intissue of normal renal(n=15), renal cell carcinoma(n=51) and adjacent tissues(n=26)bytwo-step immunohistochemistry. And find out the relationship between the proteinexpression and clinicopathologic features of the patients. The51cases of RCC arecompose of13high differentiation,24differentiation and14low differentiation;Clinical staging:16cases of stage I,20cases of stage II,10cases of stage III and5cases of stage IV.Results Positive expression rate of Caveolin-1in normal RCC tissues,normal renal tissues far from neoplasm, normal renal tissues were33%(5/15)42%(11/26)65%(33/51),the trend has gradually increased(p<0.05).In RCC,positiverate of Caveolin-1and HDAC1proteins expression at clinical stages Ⅲ~Ⅳperiodwas higher than the I~II period,lymph node metastasis group was higher than thatwithout lymph node metastasis group,tumor diameter over5cm and involved necrosisgroups were higher than tumor diameter low5cm and no involved necrosis groups onCaveolin-1. Positive expression rate of HDAC1in normal RCC tissues,normal renaltissues far from neoplasm,normal renal tissues were13%(2/15)19%(5/26)75%(38/51),the trend has gradually increased (p<0.05).The poor differentiation washigher than the moderate and well differentiation.Conclusion1、The high expressions of Caveolin-1and HDAC1arerelated with the development of RCC,playing important parts in the course ofoccurrence,development,,invasion and metastasis of renal cell carcinoma.Thecombined detection of Caveolin-1and HDAC1may be used to determine theprognosis of renal cell carcinoma. 2、The expression of was correlated with clinical stage, lymph node, size oftumor,tumor necrosis(P<0.05).Expression of Caveolin-1in RCC were not relatedwith age, sex, the degree of differentiation, the primary tumor site(P>0.05).Itsuggested that expression of Caveolin-1may associated with invasion and metastasisof RCC.3、The expression of HDAC1was correlated with clinical stage, lymph node,degree of differentiation(P<0.05). Expression of HDAC1in RCC were not relatedwith age, sex, size of tumor, the primary tumor site tumor necrosis(P>0.05). Itsuggested that expression of HDAC1may associated with invasion and metastasis ofRCC.4、In RCC,expression of Caveolin-1had a positive significant correlation withexpression of HDAC1. It suggested that they may play synergistic effect in thecarcinogenesis of RCC.They may be used as important indexes to indicate theprognosis of RCC.
