Objective To analyze the expression of HER-2 and the level of preoperative serum CA125 in Endometrial Cancer(EC),to set forth the clinical significance of the two above for the treatment and prognosis of endometrial cancer. Methods 250 cases are selected from patients who were diagnosed during the first surgical treatment as endometrial carcinoma, which the pathologic result also verified from January 2010 to December 2013 in the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao university. The pathological specimens were all given HER-2 immunohistochemical detection. 210 cases were given preoperative serum detection. The relationship is analyzed between the expression of HER-2 and the level of preoperative serum CA125 and the age of developing endometrial cancer, histologic classification, muscular infiltration, surgical pathology staging, peritoneal cytology detection, lymph node metastasis, vascular tumor emboli, the pathologic types and relapse. Meanwhile, the correlation of the two is analyzed. Results 1.The positive rate of expression of HER-2 in endometrial cancer is 23.20%, which is related to the age of developing endometrial cancer(P=0.014), peritoneal cytology detection and vascular cancer stoppers( P=0.025).The differences have statistical significance.2. The positive rate of preoperative serum CA125 of endometrial cancer is 25.24%(≥35U/ml). It has significant connection with myometrial invasive depth(P<0.001), surgical pathology staging rise(P<0.001), vascular tumor emboli(P<0.001)and peritoneal cytology detection(P=0.047).3. The relapse rate of the 250 cases is 10. 80%. It is related to the age<50 of developing endometrial cancer(P=0.012), histologic classification rise(P=0.003), myometrial invasive depth(P=0.046), surgical pathology staging rise(P<0.001), vascular tumor emboli(P =0.010), vascular cancer stoppers(P=0.041)and the pathologic types(P=0.009).it is also related to the abnormal expression of HER-2(P=0.018)and the rise of preoperative serum CA125 level.4. According to the analysis of the correlation, the HER-2 expression in the pathological tissue of endometrial cancer has no connection with preoperative serum CA125 level(c2=2.860,P=0.091). Conclusion 1. The abnormal expression of HER-2 may play an important role in the development and relapse of endometrial cancer. It promises to be an important index in the clinical treatment and relapse supervision of endometrial cancer. 2. The detection of preoperative serum CA125 contributes to getting to know the invasive scope of endometrial cancer, deciding on the treatment options. It is significant for the prognosis assessment and the relapse monitoring of endometrial cancer. It can be an important index to monitor the treatment effect and pay follow-up visits. 3. The abnormal expression of HER-2 and the preoperative serum CA125 level are separate factors that can affect the development and prognosis of endometrial carcinoma.
