Mirena Clinical Research For The Treatment Of Perimenopausal Women Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding

Objective To investigate the LNG-IUS that levonorgestrel releasing intrauterine system(trade name: Mirena) clinical efficacy perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding(DUB) treatment for uterine endometrial hyperplasia effect, using the process of adverse occurrence and corresponding measures reaction, thus to find effective and reasonable treatment of perimenopausal uterine bleeding and prevention of adverse reactions to provide a theoretical basis and clinical experience.Method A total of 103 cases diagnosed as perimenopausal DUB had received conservative treatment or relapse were divided into three groups: A group directly into the levonorgestrel releasing intrauterine system in the first 5-7 days of menstruation; Group B directly into levonorgestrel releasing intrauterine system in the first 5-7 days, while since the beginning of night plus 1 piece of drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol tablets(trade name: Yasmin), each month 21 days, stopping seven days, a total of three months; group C directly into the levonorgestrel releasing intrauterine system in the first 5-7 days of menstruation, but when vaginal bleeding or spotting irregular spotting plus hemostatic drug treatment, a total of three months. Before placing history, records of menstruation, B-measurement of endometrial thickness. 1,3,6,12 months after placing compare the three groups were placed around the PBAC score,endometrial thickness, hemoglobin, adverse reactions and satisfaction.Result after the results of the three groups of patients placed Mirena were significantly decreased menstruation, endometrial thinning, before and after treatment difference was statistically significant(P <0.05), hemoglobin levels were significantly increased, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). Mirena is placed after the main adverse reactions early abnormal vaginal bleeding or spotting spotting, the second adverse reactions is amenorrhea, falling, down, mild abdominal pain, but after three months before placement plus service Yasmin reduce irregular vaginal bleeding occurs, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05), after placing in the first three months of irregular vaginal bleeding plus service hemostatic bleeding pattern does not improve, the difference was not statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion Placed levonorgestrel releasing intrauterine system can significantly reduce the amount of menstruation, uterine endometrial hyperplasia inhibition, to improve anemia in patients with perimenopausal DUB is an effective treatment, thus avoiding hysterectomy help perimenopausal women’s health, so Mirena is worhy of clinical application.and add services after the initial placement of short-acting contraceptive Yasmin compound can reduce the incidence of irregular vaginal bleeding.
