| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the acupoint catgut-embedding therapytreating patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis with perimenopausal dysfunctionaluterine bleeding, and to provide a simple and effective treatment for those patients.Methods:60PDUB patients were divided into two groups randomly,catgut-embedding group and conventional acupuncture group containing30patientsrespectively.Results:1.Patients’ clinical symptoms can be effectively improved in both two groups. Theeffective rate of catgut-embedding group was93%, while the rate of conventionalacupuncture group was90%. The rank-sum test showed P>0.05, and there was nostatistical difference between the two groups on improving the PDUB patients’ clinicalsymptoms.2.The thickness of endometrium was decreased obviously of the two groups aftertreatment, and the Hb content was obviously increased compared to the content beforetreatment. There was significant difference compared with that before treatment(P﹤0.01),while there was no statistical difference between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion: Acupoint catgut-embedding is one of effective methods to treat PDUB.The operation is simple, and has low cost. It is more adaptive to the fast-tempo of life inthis modern society, and worthy to be clinically promoted. |
