Objective:To study the metabolic strength value changes before and after acupuncture in patients with facial paralysis, paralysis patients before acupuncture acupoints metabolic intensities of health-affected side of the face value of asymmetry coefficient of variation, with facial deformities and asymmetry coefficient index(FDI) relation between questionnaire for the study of acupuncture in patients with facial paralysis facial metabolic correlation between strength values with facial paralysis stage provide a scientific basis. Method:From Hubei Province in the Hospital Acupuncture section Hospital Department in the convened acute period paralysis patients by try who 40 name, respectively collection acupuncture front palsy patients facial patient side points points infrared hot into analysis image and acupuncture behind palsy patients facial patient side points points infrared hot chromatography image, onset 1th days acupuncture qián, and 8th days acupuncture qián, and 15 th days acupuncture qián, onset 21 st days acupuncture front palsy patients facial patient side points points infrared hot chromatography image, Image capture facial paralysis for the calculated health patients metabolic strength and coefficient of asymmetry and health patients metabolic intensity difference values and the 1th day of illness in patients with facial paralysis, 8th day, the 15 th day, 21 st day, count face a disability index(FDI) questionnaire. Image capture is complete, using SPSS PASW Statistics18, facial acupressure points and health risk of metabolic strength asymmetry coefficient s in mean ± standard deviation(x ± s), the same point between treatments for single-factor analysis of variance, and asymmetry correlation coefficient s FDI scale Pearson bivariate correlation analysis. Results:(1) the 1th day of acupuncture in patients with facial paralysis, 8th day, the 15 th day, 21 st day, less healthy metabolic intensity difference values of acupoints of the same name, was not statistically significant.(2) in patients with facial paralysis left side name metabolic strength coefficient of asymmetry in the 1th day of acupoints on the 8th day, the 15 th day, 21 st day, decreases. Patients with facial paralysis in the 1th day 7th day left and right sides of the eponymous metabolic strength asymmetry coefficient of decrease of acupoints > ~ around the 14 th day of the 8th day with the same name on both sides of metabolic strength asymmetry coefficient of decrease of acupoints > 15 th ~ 21 st day left and right sides of the eponymous acupoints metabolic strength asymmetry coefficient of decrease.(3) the uninjured side of facial paralysis facial deformities and asymmetry coefficient index(FDI) associated with statistical significance.(4) facial paralysis at different stages, metabolism strength asymmetry coefficient points are not the same, the acute phase > resting > recovery period, shows facial paralysis with acupoint metabolic strength asymmetry coefficient for illness in which a stage provides a reference. Conclusions:(1) after the affected side of the face in patients with facial paralysis with acupuncture acupoints, left and right side of the face decreases metabolic intensity difference values of acupoints of the same name.(2) the uninjured side of facial paralysis facial deformities and asymmetry coefficient index(FDI) were positively correlated, statistically significant.(3)At different stages of paralysis, metabolism of patients with facial paralysis facial health side strength asymmetry coefficient, the acute phase > resting > recovery period.
