With the rapid development of science and technology, aircraft and train havebecome commonly used travel tools. Coupled with the opening of the Qinghai-TibetRailway, the plateau train is running with increased altitude and decreasedenvironmental pressure. Whether by plateau train or by airplane, the human body isalways in a changing pressure environment. With changed atmospheric pressure, thehuman physiological system will be adaptively changed, thereby affecting the comfortof human body. As the living standards have been gradually improved, people pay moreand more attention to the comfort of travel environment. Therefore, in recent years thehuman body comfort in the low atmospheric pressure environment has become theresearch hotspots. This article focuses on the relationship between human metaboliceffect and human thermal feeling in low pressure environment.Human body will appear various degrees of altitude sickness above3000m, As ourcountry has many plateau people, the research of this aspect in our country has beencarried out and there has been a lot of research results. Although the plateau populationin our country is large, but the populationthe that living above3000m is limited, andpeople living in the plain when they have high altitude activities are mostly below3000m, except for the special work personnel. The altitude regional bodys did notappear high altitude reaction depth, not to endanger personal safety, so research in thisarea is not too much. Plateau train and plane etc. While plateau train and plane etc. arerunning at high altitude, but the indoor environment is equivalent to0.8atmosphericpressure which is about2000m. So this paper focuses on the research of humanmetabolism rate changes in low pressure within0.8atm, and the relationship betweenhuman metabolism rate changes and thermal sensation, which is significant to thereality of life.The experiment was first done a larger sample (N=100) test, and studied thechanges of human body metabolic effect and thermal sensation with pressure increaseedfrom0.8atm to1.0atm; followed by studying the changes of human body metabolic effect and thermal sensation with pressure decreased from1.0atm to0.8atm, and thencomparing the human body metabolic effect between the two experiments. Also thisstudy has a large sample size. We get the influence on human metabolism effect of theenvironmental pressure change by comprehensive analysis of the lifting pressureprocess and the lowering pressure process.Finally on the basis of metabolic rate changes in low pressure environment, wedivided100subjects into three groups by using K-means clustering. According towhether metabolic rate in low pressure is increasing or not compared with constantpressure, naming the three groups as following: population with increased metabolicrate called as metabolism(↗)group, population with reduced metabolic rate called to asmetabolism(↘)group, population with constant metabolic rate called as metabolism(-)group. Further studying the change law of metabolic rate and thermal sensation of thethree different groups, finally we find the fundamental reason of the human metaboliceffect in low pressure environment.
