Objective:To analyze risk factors, syndrome distributions and characteristics of hypertension complicated with anxiety disorder. On this basis,to further explore the pathogenesis of the disease. To provide the theoretical basis for intervening the disease. Methods:By collecting information of patients with simple hypertension, simple anxiety disorder and hypertension complicated with anxiety disorders, analyzing the differences between the three groups of risk factors and syndrome distribution laws by using statistical methods, preliminary explore the syndrome evolutive law and the causal relationship between hypertension and anxiety disorder. Results:Age 43-65, menopausal women, long duration, obesity, snoring, adverse events(high pressure, angry, single and loved ones die) and depression are closely related to hypertension with anxiety disorder(P<0.05).The distribution of syndrome is Yin deficiency heat disturbance syndrome(43.2%)>Phlegm heat and blood stasis resistance syndrome(26.1%)>Stasis hot inside syndrome(18.2%)>Phlegm heat disturbing syndrome(9.1%)>Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome(3.4%)(P<0.05).The symptoms of group B in upset, nervous, fearful, sweat, chest tightness, abdominal distension, palpitate and constipation are more common than group A.,while the patients in group A who are numb are more than group B.Conclusion:Much of hot is the pathological basis of hypertension leading to anxiety disorder. The hot damages blood vessels and disrupts the spirit is the basic pathogenesis of the disease.
