Clinical Observation Of The Treatm Ent Of Graves’ Disease By Using Dan Zhi Xiaoyao Powder

Objective To explore the clinical value which includes both the efficacy and the safety of Dan Zhi xiaoyao powder by using it to treat the type of Graves Disease which is called strong liver fire.Methods 1 Divide the 60 cases into treatment group and the control group randomly which meet the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria of Graves Diease, the control group uses anti-thyroid drugs(methimazole tablets 10 ~ 20 mg / day in divided doses) with drugs which can increase white blood cells(leucogen tablets 60 ~ 120 mg / day orally 3 times), also with drugs which control heart rate(propranolol hydrochloride tablets 30 ~ 60 mg / day orally 3 times) treatment. Treatment group add Danzhixiaoyao Powder(including Dan, gardenia, Radix, Angelica, white peony root, Yun Ling, Atractylodes and dialectical addition and subtraction, decoction on this side, every day one) on the basis of it.○2 Observe the symptoms,signs, and fill in symptom score quantization tables after one,two,three months of therapy.○3 Calculate the efficiency and effectiveness of Each group, make evaluation of it.○4 Review thyroid function(TSH, FT3, FT4)after 1, 2, 3 Three months later.○5 Calculate thyroid volume which includes the treatment before and three months later respectively.○6 The data obtained use statistical analysis which include the t test or x2 test, or Ridit test.Results 1 The treatment group has a significant difference in reducing the symptoms of calculus and improving clinical symptoms of patient,such as palpitations, irritability, sweating, and more food, stool frequency, less sleep soundly, Shenpi, fatigue.The two groups make a big difference after three months therapy(P <0.05), The treatment group improved symptoms faster and better.○2 The total effective rate of treatment group after one,two,three months is 90%, 93.3% and 96.7% respectively;the control group is 70%, 76.7%, and 80% corresponding。The two groups make a significant difference after one,two, three months therapy(P <0.05). ○3 The two groups both have a significant effect after one,two,three months therapy in improving the laboratory parameters(FT3, FT4),but there is no significant difference between groups respectively(P> 0.05). ○4 The two groups both have a significant effect after three months therapy in terms of mitigation goiter(P <0.05), there is no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion Danzhixiaoyao Powder combined with ATD have a clear clinical effect of treating the type of Graves disease which called stong live fire. This effect may be related to the pathogenesis of Graves disease medicine for inflammation, immune disorders and other related role. Conbine Chinese medicine with Western medicine is an effective way in treating Graves Disease.
