Objective:To explore the acupuncture treatment can cause water solution of dry eye rabbit lacrimal gland tissue of model structure change lack, promote lacrimal secretion, relieve the damage of ocular surface function. To observe the effects of acupuncture on dry eye rabbit model of rabbit lacrimal gland in the release of Ach in liquid water lack of influence. To provide scientific experimental basis for Mechanism Study on acupuncture treatment of dry eye.Methods:Experiment 1 health and 18 New Zealand rabbits, were randomly divided into normal group, atropine, scopolamine group three. The normal group of 6 rabbits did not receive any treatment; atropine group of 6 rabbit eyes drops of 1% atropine sulfate eye drops; scopolamine group 6 rabbits by subcutaneous injection of scopolamine hydrobromide injection. The 3 groups respectively before experiment and experiment third,7,21,28 days to check the Schirmer I test, tear break-up time, corneal fluorescein staining. Experiment 2:50 rabbits were divided into blank group, with the model group, acupuncture group, Chinese medicine group and acupuncture group and 5 group, each group 10 only. The blank group without any treatment. Model group eyes drops of 1% atropine sulfate eye drops,4 times a day, until the end of the test. The remaining group of dry eye experimental animal model of successful production start, respectively with acupuncture, the needle therapy combined with Chinese traditional medicine and drugs, changes in different periods were observed in each group of dry eye rabbit model of acetylcholine secretion and lacrimal gland tear in the.Results:1 scopolamine group in experiment seventh,14,21,28 days, Schirmer I test, tear break-up time and corneal fluorescein staining compared to check 3 and before the experiment (P< 0.05), with significant difference; atropine group in experiment third,7,14 days,3 items of inspection and test than before (P< 0.05), the difference has the significance difference, and seventh days to reach the maximum, to experiment on day twenty-first, P> 0.05, no significant difference; the third day of the experiment group scopolamine than atropine group compared (P<0.05), with significant difference; the twenty-first day of the experiment group scopolamine than atropine group (P<0.05), the difference has righteousness. Lacrimal gland pathology examination of scopolamine significantly comparing with atropine group have large areas of inflammatory cell infiltration, glandular epithelial cells atrophy. Can improve dry eye rabbit model of tear secretion Experiment 2 acupuncture, Chinese medicine and acupuncture combined with Chinese herbal medicine were, content of acetylcholine in experiment tenth,17 day acupuncture group was significantly higher than that of the lacrimal gland in model group (P<0.05), the difference was significant.Conclusion: Experiment 1 atropine sulfate eye drops produced by the dry eye model of economic, convenient, fast acting, but not lasting; scopolamine hydrobromide injection subcutaneously to make dry eye model slow onset, but for a long time, and the lacrimal gland epithelial cells significantly affected. Experiment 2 acupuncture with Runmuling combination can obviously promote the lacrimal gland secretion of Ach, promote the secretion of tears dry.
