Clinical Study On Treatment Of Dry Eye With Runmuling Atomization And Guizhencao

Objective:To investigate the effects of Runmuling angent Guizhencao atomization in treatment of dry eye.Methods:44 patients were selected from outpatients of Chinese Medicine Hospital Eye Center in Jiangsu Province from May 2009 to December 2009.The investigation was divided into two groups:Runmuling group(24 cases),and Guizhencao group (20 cases).Patients of both groups had been treated.Data was collected for corneal staining, tear film break-up time, tear flow, dry eye and the patients'main symptoms were observed. Pre-and post-treatment in each group were compared respectively. Post-treatment information in both groups were analysed..Results:The results for corneal staining, tear flow, the clinical symptoms of dry eye was significant improved (P<0.05)for both Runmuling and Guizhencao groups. Results were compared after four weeks from the last treatment for both groups.Their post-treatment data with their original result were also compared.Both Runmuling and Guizhencao have their significant impact in different aspect.Conclusion:Topical administration of Chinese medicine by atomization is feasible; Runmulin and Guizhencao atomizer is effective in treatment of dry eye...
