The Clinical Curative Effect And Evaluation Of The Female Menopause Depression According To Acupuncture Therapy By Dispersing The Stagnated Liver-Qi And Regulating The Spirit

Objective: To observe and evaluate the clinical curative effect of the acupuncture therapy by dispersing the stagnated liver-qi and regulating the spirit on Female menopause depression. Providing a more efficient, convenient and effective treatment for menopausal women to alleviate depression.Methods: The 66 patients with Female menopause depression were rando mly divided into two groups of each 33 cases.The treatment group received Acupuncturetherapy by dispersing the stagnated liver-qi and regulating the spirit.To select points including Sishencong(EX-HN1), Shenting(DU24), Benshen(GB13), Baihui(DU20), Yintang(EX-HN3), Neiguan(PC6), Taichong(LR3).The contro l group received routine acupuncture.To select points including Qihai(RN6), Ga nshu(BL18), Shenshu(BL23), Shenmen(HT7), Sanyinjiao(SP6), Taixi(KI3).Obser ving changes in the patient before and after treatment in Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA) and Kupperman Index.Results: Before and after treatment, two groups of HAMD, HAMA and Kupperman Index were significantly different(P<0.05). Compared two groups after treatment in HAMD, HAMA and Kupperman Index were significantly different(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture therapy by dispersing the stagnated liver-qi and regulating the spirit and routine acupuncture were both effective methods to improve menopausal symptoms in patients with depression.But in comparison,the acupuncture therapy by dispersing the stagnated liver-qi and regulating the spirit were much better than routine acupuncture.
