The Clinical Curative Effect And Evaluation Of The Menopausal Syndrome According To Acupuncture Therapy By Tonifying Kidney And Dispersing The Stagnated Liver-Qi And Regulating The Spirit

Object:To observe and evaluate the clinical curative effect of the acupuncture therapy by tonifying kidney and dispersing the stagnated liver- qi and regulating the spirit on female Menopausal Syndrome (MPS).To explore the mechanism initially so as to seek a new acupuncture idea and scheme for MPS,and to further explore theory of the mechanism of acupuncture.Method:By the way of random and trial,60 MPS were randomly assigned into two groups,30 patients received acupuncture therapy by tonifying kidney and dispersing the stagnated liver-qi and regulating the spirit as experimental group and another group in which 30 patients accepted regular acupuncture therapy as control group. Before and after the whole treatment MRS,SAS and SDS scores were observed and evaluated. To compare efficacy of the two groups at the same time.Result:1.There is very significant difference between the scores of the somatic symptoms before and after the treatment in the experimental group (P<0.01), There is very significant difference between the scores of the somatic symptoms before and after the treatment in the control group (P<0.01),there is not significant difference between the scores of somatic symptoms before and after the treatment in these two groups (P>0.05).2.there is very significant difference between the scores of the psychological symptoms before and after treatment in the experimental group (P<0.01), there is very significant difference between the scores of the psychological symptoms before and after treatment in the control group (P<0.01), and there is very significant difference between the scores of the psychological after treatment in these two groups (P<0.01).3. There is very significant difference between the scores of the uro-genital symptoms before and after the treatment in the experimental group (P<0.01), There is very significant difference between the scores of the somatic symptoms before and after the treatment in the control group (P<0.01), there is not significant difference between the scores of uro-genital symptoms before and after the treatment in these two groups (P>0.05).4. There is not significant difference between the scores of the MRS before treatment in these two groups (P>0.05), there is significant difference between the scores of the MRS after treatment in these two groups (P<0.05).5. There is not significant difference between the scores of the SAS, SDS before treatment in these two groups (P>0.05), there is very significant difference between the scores of the SAS, SDS after treatment in these two groups (P<0.01).Conclusion:1. Both treatment regimes can treat menopausal syndrome effectively, but the effect of the experimental group is superior to the control group. 2. Both of the treatment regimes can improve the somatic and psychological and uro-genital symptoms of menopause, but the experimental group is remarkably superior to the control group regarding improvement of the psychological symptoms. 3. Both treatment regimes can treat SAS, SDS effectively, but the effect of the experimental group is remarkably superior to the control group.
