Objective: To study the clinical efficacy and safety of the treatment of Reinforcing the Kidney and Invigorating the Spleen on the basis of conventional therapy of internal medicine of western medicine for Hyperbilirubinemia Liver Disease. Methods:Depending on the inclusion criteria and Exclusion criteria we selected 70 patients with hyperbilirubinemia liver disease in this study The 70 cases were randomly divided into two groups, the control group and the treatment group both included 35 cases. The control group received conventional Western medicine toprotect the liver through reducing enzyme, removing jaundice and other symptomatic supportive treatment. Except the same treatment as the control group the treatment group also received the treatment of Chinese medicine of Reinforcing the Kidney and Invigorating the Spleen. The course lasted for 6 weeks.Observe the changes of liver and kidney function, coagulation function, urine routine, stool routine, stool occult blood, main symptoms, signs, adverse drug reaction and so on in patients before and after treatment.then we use SPSS17.0 to analyze the acquired data.Results:(1) The comparison of the total clinical efficacy: after 6 weeks’ treatment, the treatment group : 1 dead,14 markedly improved,19 effective, the mortality rate for 2.86%, significant efficiency for 40.2%, the total efficiency for 94.2%; The control group:2 dead, 5 markedly improved,22 effective, the mortality for 5.71%, markedly effective rate for 14.3%, the total efficiency for 77.1%. The total effective rate of treatment group was higher than that of the control group, suggesting that spleen and kidney method has advantages in combined with western medicine treatment of spleen kidney yang deficiency of liver disease in patients with hyper bilirubinemia.(2) The curative effect comparison of TCM symtoms:after 6 weeks’ treatment, the treatment group and the comparison group total effectiveness respectively were 96.66% and 83.33%. The efficiency were respectively 53.33% and 26.67%, showing that the treatment groupis better than the control group.(3) the total score comparison of TCM symptom: There was no significant difference between the two groups, after six weeks’ treatment, the t symptomscore of he two groups were decreased significantly.Compared with the control group no matter before or after treatment, the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(4) the comparison of the improved hepatic function: Before treatment, There was no significant difference in serum total bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, albumin among the two groups. After six weeks’ treatment, the two groups were obviously improved in that indexes, the treatment group was better than the control group; But in albumin improvement aspect, There was no significant difference between the two groups.(5) the comparison of the improved blood coagulation function: Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups. After treatment, the blood coagulation function has been effectively improved, and the treatment group was better than that of the control group. Conclusion: The method of Reinforcing the Kidney and Invigorating the Spleen on the basis of conventional western medicine for hyperbilirubinemia Liver Disease can accelerate the fading of jaundice, and can effectively alleviate the patients’ clinical symptoms and signs, and has a significant clinical effica-cy. There were no toxic and side effects in the course, the drug has good security. It reflects the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of Hyperbilirubinemia Liver Disease. This method is worth further research and clinical promotion.
