The asthmatic children at the age of 7 to 17 were evaluated with the chinese vers-ion of Life Scale.the date were conducted by percentage, mean, standard deviation Student’s test. One-Way ANOVA Analysis, Pearson Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis usingspss17.0.Results:1. General situations in the families with asthmatic childrenHalf of the families with asthmatic children in the study live in urban areas, and most parents we re college education were above. The proportion of temporary layoffs accounts for 58.7%. while only 24.7% of parents took a permanent job. In addition, minor of the families are autocratic to the children with asthma in the rearing pattern. Furthermore, most families had no pet and plants at home. General conditions of asthmatic childrenA total of 156 children were included in the study with an average age of 7.82±3.2 years. The su-ects with the age from2 to 6 accounted for 32.7%(51) and the children from the age 7 to 17 ac-counted for67.3%(107). The percentage of boys with asthma were higher than that of girls with the asthma. Besides,34.0% of children have suffered from asthma for less than 1 year 39.7% of children for 1 to 3 years,26.3% children for more than 3 years.More then half of the asthmatic children get access to check regularly..3. The status and ANOVA analysis of family management in the asthmatic childrenThe average score of family management is 3.39±0.28 belonging to the middle level.FamilyMa- nagement had statistical significance difference among age;family location parental education degree, parental occupation, rearing pattern pet keeping, regular checkup, and difference in undert-anding of the disease. However, there was no significance difference(p>0.05); among course of asthma, plants in the family and smoking status.4. Status and ANOVA analysis of resilience in asthmatic childrenThe average score of resilience is 2.74±0.29 belonging to the middle level.Resilience had differ-ence(p<0.05) among age, family location, parental education degree, parental occupation, rearing pattern, course of asthma, regular checkup, and differences in understanding of disease. In contrast, there was no significant difference of resilience among home environment(p>0.05).5.Status and ANOVA analysis of quality of life in asthmatic childrenThe score of quality of life among asthmatic children at the age from 2 to 6 was 3.29±0.32.in a Medium level of life had significant difference among family location, regular check, course of asthma, and differences in understanding of disease. While, there was no sisnificant difference of quality among the gender, parental education degree, parental occupation, rearing pattern and home environment are without statistical significance(p>0.05).The average score of quality of life is 5.38±0.75 in the families with asthmatic children at the age of 7 to 17 in the mid to upper level. Quality of life had sisnificant difference (p<0.05)among family location, parental education degree, parental occupation, rearing pattern, regular checkup and differences in derstanding of disease. Moreover, gender, course of asthma and home envi-ronment are with statistical significance(p>0.05).6.Relationship of family management, resilience and quality of lifeIn the families with asthmatic children, family management is significantly associated with resili ence and quality of life, family management has notable correlation with resilience and quality of life.Furthermore, there was a positive correlation between resilience and quality of life.7Regression among family management, resilience and quality of life in the asthmatic childrenFamily management and resilience positively affected the quality of life of children with asthma. Conclusions:For children with asthma, family management, resilience and quality of life remain on the medium level.
