Clinical Observation To Shoulder Periarthiritis Treated By Manipulation Plus Articular Intracavity Injection

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of manipulation plus articular intracavity injection in the treatment of shoulder periarthiritis.Methods:Sixty cases suffered shoulder periarthiritis were randomly divided into two groups, the experimental group treated with manipulation and articular intracavity injection and control group treated with only articular intracavity injection. There were30cases in each group.The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),stasis type rating scale of shoulder periarthiritis and the constant-murley score were used before and after the treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results:1. After the treatment, the VAS score, stasis type rating scale of shoulder periarthiritis, the constant-murley score, ADL score and ROM score were all improvement in both group, statistically (P<0.05).2.The experimental group had significant improvement than the control group (P <0.05), except for the VAS score, which displayed no significant differences (P>0.05).3.The average treatment frequency was1.23±0.43in the experimental group,and2.40±0.62in the control group, which displayed significant differences(P<0.05)between the two groups.4.After the treatment,follow up tojudge the effect,the experimental group markedly effective rate were100%, and73.33%in the control group, the experimental group was better than control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:1. Manipulation plus articular intracavity injection can reduce the pain in shoulder periarthritis of stasis type.They can also improve the shoulder function.2.This combined treatment (manipulation plus articular intracavity) can enhance the clinical effect with a short period of treatment in deal with shoulder periarthiritis.
