Background:Pediatric Acute cough is one of the most common diseases in pediatrics. This disease is equivalent to the acute infantile bronchitis. It’s mainly treat infections, symptomatic treatment in Western medicine. The treatment of traditional Chinese medicine is based on an integrated diagnosis. Train of thoughts and syndrome differentiation, combining with antibiotic treatment can obviously shorten the duration of symptoms. But some children are difficult to drink Chinese herb tisane, and unable to tolerate non-drug treatment methods like acupuncture and moxibustion, massage, so the curative effect is difficult to achieve.Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupoint iontophoresis therapy refers to the use of direct current (dc) to specific drug in on acupoints. Modern medical research proved, acupoint iontophoresis drug delivery system can avoid the gastrointestinal tract and liver influence, and it’s unruffled in the bloodstream than oral medicine. This method has better effectiveness with smaller pain during the treatment process, so it’s easy to be accepted by children. Gunpoint iontophoresis is often used in respiratory diseases, but this method did not reflect the characteristics of syndrome differentiation and treatment administration during the treatment process. The doctors of traditional Chinese medicine think pediatric viscera are tender. Once that caught exogenous pathogens, is easy to have the disease. The invasion first can disturb the lung qi, and fluid gathers tighter become sputum, and obstructs in lung, which can cause cough. The property of children body is pure Yang, cool to form heat and sputum, therefore, phlegm heat type of TCM is more common. Bacterial infections are common in clinical observation, so we choose the type of bacteria in infection as the research object. Western medicine treatment is controlling bacterial infection, relieving cough and reducing sputum. We choose MaXingShiGan soup as Acupoint iontophoresis prescription, with its placid expression to relieve cough.Project objective:This topic aims to explore the adjuvant treatment of acupoint iontophoresis infantile acute cough’s cough symptoms improvement, in order to improve the curative effect and reducing the pain of inpatient children.Explicit methods:The topic proceeded at Beijing Gulou TCM hospital pediatrics. Using the simple random sample and collecting western medicine diagnosis standard of peripheral blood leukocytes rising in3-6years old children, conventional Western medicine oral treatment of30cases, conventional Western medicine oral plus acupoint iontophoresis. Cough scores of before treatment and after5days comparative statistics with SPSS software for improving clinical application.Results:l.Two groups of children with gender, age, illness, have no statistical difference before the treatment.2.For the total effective rate, treatment group is better than the control group with statistical significance.3.Treatment group and control group are both meaningful with statistical significance before and after treatments, and treatment group is better.4.Before and after treatment, the curative effect comparisons of two group day-day and night-night cough score have both statistical differences.5.The treatment group and control group curative effect comparison is meaningful before and after treatment. The treatment group5-6years old children curative effect is better than the control group after treatment in statistically significant.6.Results between genders have no difference before and after the treatment. After treatment, there is no statistical difference of the same gender between the two groups.7.After treatment, the control group, there were a significant statistical significance in light-severe comparison and a statistical significance in moderate-severe comparison. After treatment, the effect of treatment group severe section is preferable to the control group through the cure with statistical significance.Conclusion:1.For the operative rate, the treatment group is preferable to the control group.2.Treatment group and control group both can relieve the patient’s cough symptom, and the treatment group is better.3.Gender, age, illness situation, day and night have no influence on the effectiveness of treatment.4.The treatment group5-6years old children curative effect is better than the control group after treatment.5.After treatment, different condition children of the control group appear curative effect difference, and the severe section effect is poorer. The effect of treatment group severe section is preferable to the control group.
