Applied Research On Community Diabetes And Its High-risk People Based On Chinese Tranditional Medicine Concept

Objective: Based on the research of the comprehensive intervention measures of"preventive treatment of disease" concept for the practical application of communityprevention and cure of diabetes mellitus and its high risk population,and to exploreits feasibility and effectiveness,can provide a reference model for TCM "preventivetreatment of disease" intervention of diabetic mellitus and the high risk crowdmanagement.Methods: This study by cluster sampling, selected two natural villages in thiscommunity in the same scale,20-75years old were collected by questionnaire andphysical examination of the adult form of blood glucose,bloodlipid and the Constitution and other relevant information; the intervention group weretreated with traditional Chinese medicine’ preventive treatment ofdisease’ comprehensive management scheme for intervention in the population ofdiabetes mellitus and its high risk, and the establishment of the corresponding comparedwith the control group, in order to study the intervention to improve population ofdiabetic mellitus and the high risk of cognitive degree of diabetes prevention andself management level, improve the body weight, blood glucose, blood pressure,bloodlipids,and ultimately achieve the purpose of effective prevention and treatmentof diabetes mellitus;to explore the feasibility of "preventive treatment ofdisease" comprehensive management scheme applied to the prevention and cure ofdiabetes mellitus and effectiveness. Application SPSS16.0statistical software for dataanalysis,measurement data using mean±standard deviation,was used to compare theprevalence of X2test between normal t-test was used to compare data betweengroups,before and after the treatment,using a group F inspection/Willcoxon rank sumtest was used for comparison； count data changes before and after treatment using the X2test；count data using frequency or expressed as a percentage； correlation analysisusing Pearson linear correlation analysis. With P<0.05was considered statisticallysignificant.Results: This study showed that5461patients in patients with impaired fastingglucose (IFG)detection rate was6.76%,265cases of patients with diabetesmellitus (DM). The prevalence rate was4.85%,the detection rateof the community diabetes and high-risk populations of higher.The IFG and theprevalence of DM in male (9.05%,7.59%) was significantly higher than that infemale (4.47%,2.07%),need to focus on.The study found that,with the crowd from thenormal group to the IFG group to the DM group,and the quality ofTCM Constitution identification ratio decreased gradually,yin deficiency,Qideficiency and phlegm dampness ratio to rise gradually.Prompt dryness heat due todeficiency of Yin is the main disease of diabetic machine.The TCM "preventivetreatment of disease" comprehensive intervention, subjects awareness of diabetes andits risk factors and self management level improved significantly; the subjects ofthe body mass index, waist hip ratio, blood glucose, blood lipid indexessignificantly improved; the subjects of the high-risk group of diabetes conversion ratedecreases.Conclusion: The traditional preventive treatment ofdisease comprehensive management scheme,self management intervention,greatlyimprove the knowledge of the community diabetes and high-riskgroups;metabolism including blood pressure,body mass index,waist hip ratio,fastingblood glucose,postprandial2hour blood glucose,glycosylatedhemoglobin,triglyceride,total cholesterol and other laboratory indexes significantlyimprove the diabetes;impaired fasting glucose conversion rate decreases.Researchshows that Chinese medicine ’preventive treatment of disease comprehensivemanagement plan for the prevention and treatment of diabetes mellitus and the high riskpopulation of feasible, effective, has a positive effect, TCM "preventive treatment ofdisease" theory for the prevention and treatment of diabetes provides a strongtheoretical support and guidance.
