With the rapid development of China’s economic and technology, there is increasingly attention on workers’rights in the society. The government formulated the protection policies to insure workers’security, and it also provided safe operation lessons for workers. But the fact, that workers with heavy manual occupations in thermal environment cannot exactly measure their subjective sensation and actual physiological affordability, leads to eventual accidents during work. In order to protect workers’safety and healthy under high temperature operation environment, the main purpose of this study is seeking for the most relevant physiological parameter when the workers feel dis-comfortable.The experiment was operated in Tianjin University Environment Chamber. Experiment temperature is from 25℃to 40℃and the relative humidity is from 50% to 90%. The participants were recruited from Tianjin University. The experiment was operated by treadmill; the levels of exercise intensity were orderly sit-in, 3.5km/h and 5.5km/h. During the experiment, the participants were tested a set of physiological parameters, such as, oral temperature, mean skin temperature, heart rate, oxygen saturation, energy metabolism rate and heat storage rate. And to gather their subjective sensation, participants were simultaneously asked to fill out a questionnaire through the test.According to the analysis of physiological parameter changes by operating under high temperature environment, we can get the conclusion. As the exercise intensity and heat stress increased, the physiological parameters got significant changes. When exercise intensity and heat stress are approximate, the effect of heat stress on boys is higher than on girls; and the exercise intensity influences girls more.By analyzing the relationship between subjective sensation and physiological parameter, we can get a conclusion that when participant feels fatigued the most prominent subjective symptom is thirst. Meanwhile, we make a correlation analysis of tolerance and physiological parameter by SPSS Statistics 17.0, whose results indicates that oral temperature is the most relevant physiological parameter with subjective Sensation tolerance. |
