The significance of the studyThis applies the model of rats with bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosisandinvestigates the pulmonary index of the rats after receiving danbeiyifei treatment, thepathomorphological variation of the rats’lung tissue and the impact on the levels of IL-4,IFN-γ in their serum. The thesis is to provide a theoretical and experimental basis for theevaluation of danbeiyifei’s effect in pulmonary fibrosis and study whether this therapycan stand the test and also the degree to which it can reduce the disease..The research methods of the study108rats are equally divided into6groups by random. Group A isblank control group, B is model control and Chinese medicine group (Group F ishigh-dose group, E is middle-dose and D is low-dose group), Group C is positivedrug group (prednisone-controlling group). All the rats are given bleomycin toset up lung fibrosis models. The next day, rats in Group A and Group B are givengavage by10ml normal saline for per kilogram once a day; while rats inprednisone-controlling group receive gavage by10ml prednisone aqueoussolution for per kilogram once a day. Six rats in all the groups are randomlykilled on the7th,14th and28th day respectively to get the pulmonary tissue.Then we observe the variation of pulmonary index of the rats and determinethe severity of pulmonary alveolitis and fibrosis through HE dyeing, Massondyeing and the observing the pathomorphological variation of the rats’pulmonary tissue microstructure. We also use ELISA to measure the level ofIL-4and IFN-γ in the rats’ serum.The results of this studyDanbeiyifei can reduce the pulmonary index of rats with pulmonary fibrosis,improve their performance and stimulate them to secrete IFN-γ, which caninhibit the development of IL-4and reduce the degree of fibrosis. Among theresults, the curative effect of danbeiyifei is better than that of prednisone andthe results show a significant difference between them.The conclusion of the study1.Danbeiyifei can decrease the pulmonary coefficient of rats with pulmonary fibrosis and relieve the inflammatory activity of their lung tissues andlower the degree of pulmonary fibrosis process.2.Danbeiyifei can stimulate INF-γ secretion and restrain the formation ofIL-4and shows strong anti-pulmonary fibrosis action.
