Clinical Observing On Treating Knee Osteoatrhritis(Kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis) By BUSHENHUOXUE Decoction

Objective：To observe the clinical effect on treating Knee Osteoarthritis （kidneydeficiency and blood stasis） by BUSHENHUOXUE decoction,in order to direct clinicwork.Methods：All79Knee Osteoarthritis patients from outpatient department were chosenfrom August2012to August2013.They were randomly divided into two groups namelytherapeutic group and control group.The therapeutic group consisting of40patients weretreated with BUSHENHUOXUE decoction;The control group made up of39cases weregiven glucosamine sulfate capsules and celecoxib capsules.Before treatment,the patients inboth groups were given WOMAC illness severity scores and TCM syndrome quantitativescores,at the same time were taken lateral knee X-rays.After8weeks’treatment,the clinicaleffects of BUSHENHUOXUE decoction were evaluated through comparing the scores of4weeks’and8weeks’treatment with the scores before treatment.Results：After4weeks’treatment,there was no significant difference in scores of jointpain in improving illness severity（P>0.05）,but a significant difference in scores of jointfunction and joint stiffness（P<0.05）;After8weeks’treatment,there was no significantdifference in scores of joint pain and joint stiffness（P>0.05）,but a significant difference injoint function（P<0.05）.After4weeks’treatment,there was no significant difference injoints stinging and swelling in improving TCM Syndromes（P>0.05）,but a significantdifference in backache&knee weak and joint dark purple（P<0.05）;After8weeks’treatment,there was no significant difference in stinging（P>0.05）,but a significantdifference in backache&knee weak and joint dark purple（P<0.05）.After both4 weeks’and8weeks’treatment total efficacy had significant differences among two groups（P<0.05）.There was no significant difference in X-rays shown After8weeks’treatment（P>0.05）.Conclusion：BUSHENHUOXUE decoction has better clinic effect in treating KneeOsteoarthritis （kidney deficiency and blood stasis） than taking glucosamine sulfatecapsules and celecoxib capsules.And the addition or subtraction of BUSHENHUOXUEdecoction can highlight the characteristics of individual therapy, treat both cause andsymptoms,improve the overall function of the body,and give full play to the superiority of TCMdecoction treatment and suitable for long-term use.It is effective in treating KneeOsteoarthritis and worthy of promotion.
