Objective: To provide clinical data for confirming the best acupoint by observing thetime regular patterns in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea with acupuncture in theshiqizhui acupoint and guanyuan acupoint and comparing the differences. Methods:60eligibility patients were divided into three groups of the individual shiqizhui acupointgroup20cases, the individual guanyuan acupoint group20cases,the blank group20cases by a simple random number select way. And the changing differences with timeof VAS(Visual Analogue Scale, VAS) data and MCGILL simplify scale evaluation datawere observed group by group and compared between groups. Results: The differencesbefore and after treatment in the data of VAS and MCGILL simplify scale evaluationdata in the individual shiqizhui acupoint group and the individual guanyuan acupointgroup (p<0.05) have notable statistical significances. This is similar to the treatmentgroup and the blank group according to the scores of VAS and MCGILL (p<0.05).Conclusion:1. To acupuncture the individual shiqizhui acupoint can effectivelyrelieve and reduce the patients’ pain and discomforts with primary dysmenorrhea.2.The shiqizhui acupoint is more better than the guanyuan acupoint when be chosen toacupuncture the individual acupoint in the treatment.
