Clinical Observation Of Suspended Moxibust Ion On Shiqizhui Point Combined With Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Primary Dysmenorrhea Caused By Cold Coagulation And Blood Stasis Type

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of suspended moxibustion on Shiqizhui point combined with acupuncture in the treatment of dysmenorrhea caused by cold coagulation and blood stasis,and to explore the feasibility and effectualness of this treatment for dysmenorrhea,so as to provide a more effectual method for clinical treatment of dysmenorrhea.MethodRandomized,single-blind and parallel-controlled research methods were adopted.According to 1 to 1 ratio,60 participants with primary dysmenorrhea of congealing and blood stasis type who met the inclusion criteria were divided into suspended moxibustion on Shiqizhui point combined with acupuncture group and the common acupuncture group.The two groups both selected acupoints Zhongji,Sanyinjiao,Diji,Ciliao,Guanyuan,Guilai,and Shiqizhui.In the conventional acupuncture group,all acupuncture points were treated with ordinary acupuncture.After the routine sterilization of the acupuncture points,select the 0.30x40mm needle and quickly insert it into the acupoints.The Shiqizhui was directly stabbed for 15-25mm,and the other acupoints were directly stabbed for 25-30mm.After getting the qi,the method of twirling is used to supplement and purge the body,and the needles are twirled once every 10 minutes,retaining the needles for 30 minutes.Acupuncture in the suspended moxibustion on Shiqizhui point combined with acupuncture group was the same as that in the conventional acupuncture group.The suspended moxibustion was added to the Shiqizhui point during the period of needle retention,and the duration of suspended moxibustion was 30 minutes.Both groups were treated 7 days before menstruation,once a day,7 times a menstrual cycle as a course of treatment.In total treatment of 3 treatment course,the patients were followed up 3 months after the end of treatment.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated by vas score and dysmenorrhea symptom score scale,and the recurrence rate was observed.Results1.Baseline data:the age,course of disease,VAS score and menstrual symptom scale of patients in the two groups were compared,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that the data between the two groups were comparable.2.At the end of the treatment,vas scores in both groups was lower than that before treatment,indicating that both groups could improve the pain degree of dysmenorrhea.The improvement in the suspension moxibustion of Shiqizhui point combined with acupuncture group was significantly higher than that in the conventional acupuncture group,with statistical difference(P<0.05).3.After treatment,the scores of dysmenorrhea symptoms in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,indicating that the two groups could improve other symptoms of dysmenorrhea.The improvement in the suspension moxibustion of Shiqizhui point combined with acupuncture group was significant compared with that in the conventional acupuncture group,with statistical difference(P<0.05).4.Comparison of efficacy:after 3 courses of treatment,the suspension moxibustion of Shiqizhui point combined with acupuncture group recovered in 5 cases(16.6%),markedly effectual in 13 cases(43.3%),effectual in 10 cases(33.3%),and ineffectual in 2 cases(6.6%),with a total effectual rate of 93.3%.Conventional acupuncture group recovered in 3 cases(10.0%),markedly improved in 5 cases(16.6%),16 cases were effectual(53.3%),6 cases were ineffectual(20.0%),with the total effectual rate was 80.0%.The total effectual rate in the suspension moxibustion of Shiqizhui point combined with acupuncture group was greater than that in the conventional acupuncture group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Follow-up after treatment showed that the recurrence rate of suspension moxibustion of Shiqizhui point combined with acupuncture group and conventional acupuncture group was 10.67%and 41.67%,respectively(P<0.05),showing a statistical difference.ConclusionsThe two groups both have good effects in improving the pain degree and other accompanying symptoms of dysmenorrhea with cold coagulation and blood stasis,and the clinical efficacy of the suspension moxibustion of Shiqizhui point combined with acupuncture group is better than that of the conventional acupuncture group,and the recurrence rate is lower than that of the conventional acupuncture group,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
