The Clinical Observation Of Husui Prescription On Treating Leukopenia With Chemotherapy

Purposes:Through this research, evaluation the efficacy of the husui prescription in prevention and treatment of malignant tumor after chemotherapy leukopenia.Method:There are76patients with malignant tumor who receiving chemotherapy in hospital of Chengdu University of TCM(Sichuan province Chinese medicine hospital) oncology in April2013to February2014.They are distributed in two groups randomly: group A (the experimental group)38cases, and group B (the control group)38cases. Group A1week to start taking Chinese traditional medicine husui prescription treatment before chemotherapy, for2weeks. Group B only receives chemotherapy. Two group of patients will give the granulocyte colony stimulating factor150ug qd ih. when the count of their leucopenia under2.0×109/L, or neutrophil under1.5×109/L, and it stop until the count of leucopenia rise for4.0×109/L above, or neutrophil rise for2.0×109/L above.Observational target:(1) the change of leukocyte, neutrophil count before and after treatment;(2) the quantity of granulocyte colony stimulating factor;(3) Karnofsky grade and the change of primary symptom of TCM;(4) Liver and kidney function changes before and after treatment. All data use the SPSS22.0software package to carry on the statistical analysis.Results:The prescription can effectively improve the leukopenia in patients with malignant tumor chemotherapy.(1) Improve the white blood cells, neutrophils, with long-term effect is more apparent, curative effect is superior to the control group (P <0.05);(2) In terms of GSF usage, test group significantly less than the control group (P<0.05);(3) On the KPS score and primary symptom change of traditional Chinese medicine, is also much better than the control group (P<0.05);(4)In the two groups after treatment in patients with liver and kidney function change has no obvious difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:The prescription is safe and effective, which can obviously improve the malignant tumor chemotherapy patient’s bone marrow hematopoietic function, improve the body’s bone marrow tolerance ability, reduce the use amount of granulocyte colony stimulating factor and improve the patient’s quality of life, which is conducive to the smooth progress of chemotherapy.
