Objective:The incidence of cancer is increasing year by year.Chemotherapy is an important part of the process of cancer treatment. However, chemotherapy is often accompanied by serious side effects, including leucopenia, which is also an important reason affecting the treatment of cancer. For the treatment of leukopenia, there are few methods in western medicine, and the efficacy is not stable, accompanied by more adverse reactions, and the acceptance of patients is poor. Therefore,it is very necessary to find a method to treat chemotherapy-induced leukopenia from traditional Chinese medicine.Research Methods:In this study,a prospective cohort study was conducted, including 64 patients admitted for chemotherapy in the Department of Oncology and Hematology of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to November 2020.Among them,3 patients were excluded because they refused to continue the treatment with the needle. The remaining 61 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(n=31)and the control group(n=30).Patients in the two groups met the inclusion conditions, and there were no differences in baseline data and observation indicators before chemotherapy.During the treatment,no adverse events occurred in all patients.Among them, the control group was treated with normal chemotherapy, and the treatment group was treated with needle adjuvant therapy on the basis of the course of chemotherapy. When patients in the two groups showed symptoms of leukopenia, they could be treated with drugs.During the test, collect patients before chemotherapy,chemotherapy,3 days, the seventh day of chemotherapy, chemotherapy patients with 14 days of blood routine, the incidence of leukopenia, drug use frequency,KPS score and TCM symptom score data, and compared between groups and groups before and after contrast, used to assess the press the needle treatment of white blood cells, and the impact of patients quality of life.Results:1.There was no statistical difference in the general information before chemotherapy between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.After the start of chemotherapy, the total number of white blood cells in the control group was lower than that in the treatment group, and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups on the third day of chemotherapy(P<0.05),while there was no statistically significant difference between the data on the seventh and 14th days.3.There were significant statistical differences in the decrease of total white blood cell count between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).4.The incidence of leukopenia in the treatment group was 58.06%,while that in the control group was 70.00%.There was no statistical difference between the two groups.5.There was no significant difference in platelet and hemoglobin between the treatment group and the control group before and after chemotherapy(P<0.05).On the 14th day of chemotherapy, there was a significant difference in hemoglobin between the two groups(P<0.05).6.The drug utilization rate of the control group after leukopenia was slightly higher than that of the treatment group, and there was no statistical significance in the data comparison between the two groups.7.There was a statistical difference in KPS scores between the two groups before and after the comparison(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups.8.There were significant differences in the overall scores of TCM symptoms between the two groups before and after comparison. The overall scores of TCM symptoms between the two groups showed significant differences from the 3rd day(P<0.05),and from the 7th and 14th day(P<0.01).9.In terms of individual symptoms,on the 3rd day of chemotherapy, the scores of vomiting in the treatment group were different from those before treatment, and on the 14th day,the scores of eating less and eating less and vomiting were different(P<0.05).In the control group, fatigue, lack of food and tolerance, vomiting symptom scores were different from those before chemotherapy, and spontaneous and night sweats were also different on the 7th day of chemotherapy(P<0.05).In the comparison between the two groups, there were significant statistical differences in fatigue, lack of food and tolerance, and vomiting symptoms on the 7th day,and there were significant statistical differences in fatigue symptoms on the 14th day, while there were no significant statistical differences in other symptoms.Conclusion:1.The addition of screw acupuncture in the course of chemotherapy can relieve the leucopenia caused by chemotherapy to a certain extent and protect the bone marrow.2.The number of platelets and hemoglobin in the course of chemotherapy can be maintained to a certain extent by the adjuvant treatment of screw acupuncture.3.Adjuvant chemotherapy followed by screw acupuncture can slightly reduce the incidence of leukopenia and the frequency of drug use,but it still needs to expand the sample observation.4.Press-acupuncture therapy can improve the traditional Chinese medicine symptoms of tumor patients during chemotherapy, especially fatigue, lack of food and tolerance, vomiting symptoms have been significantly improved, and the overall living standard of patients has been improved.
