Objective:Observing the efficacy of Daochijianggan tang on treating children with Tourette syndrome of heart and liver fire hyperactivity type.And through the evaluation of curative effect to explore the advantages of Chinese medicine treatment of children with Tourette syndrome.Methods:Collected60cases accorded with the diagnostic standard of children(from04,2013to02,2014in outpatient department of pediatrics patients in Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of T.C.M. were selected). According to the control principle,60patients were divided into experiment group and control group with30cases in each. The experiment group was given the Chinese medicine Daochijianggan tang. The control group was given Tiapridal tablet. The course of treatment was4weeks. Statistics of two groups were observed before and after treatment and the curative effect difference of symptom score.Results:The experiment group and treatment group both have therapeutic effect on TS.Comparison of the efficacy of the primary disease:the effective rate of the experiment group was93.3%,the effective rate of control group was80.0%.The difference was obvious(P <0.05).The experiment group was better than control group in the treatment of motor tics of TS,especially in reducing the number of interference aspect tic. About the effect on minor symptoms (complexion, mood, sleep),The experiment group was better than control group.Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of two groups of drugs in children:the experiment group was better than control group.Daochijianggan tang used to treat Tourette syndrome of children had better clinical effects,and its effect was better than Tiapride.
