The Electro-acupuncture Treatment And Improved Manipulation For Acute Lumbar Sprain Arised From Synovial Incarceration Of Lumbar Vertebral Posteiror Joint

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of electro-acupuncture treatment andimproved manipulation for acute lumbar sprain arised from synovial incarceration oflumbar vertebral posterior joint.Methods:Diagnoses referred to“The Standards of Traditional Chinese MedicineIndustry in the Peoples Republic of China:Criteria of Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect ofDiseases and Syndromes in Traditional Chinese Medicine for Acute LumbarSprain”published by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in1995.From April2013to January2014,46cases of acute lumbar sprain were selected fromthe Jinan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital on the basis of diagnostic criteria.We usedthe method of control test and randomization.Patients were indiscriminately and averagelydivided into the manipulation group and the medicine-fixation group.The clinical effectafter treatment was observed by Visual Analogue Score(VAS)and Range of Motion(ROM).Result:VAS:The clinical efficacy rate of the manipulation group is95%,and the othergroup is71%.Both methods are effective in treating the acute lumbar sprain arised fromsynovial incarceration of lumbar vertebral posterior joint(p<0.05).But there is obviouslydifferent in the efficacy rate of two groups(p<0.05),which shows the electro-acupuncturetreatment and improved manipulation is much more efficient.ROM：The efficacy rate ofthe manipulation group is95%,and the other group is67%.There is obviously different inthe efficacy rate of two groups(p<0.05),and the electro-acupuncture treatment andimproved manipulation is much more efficient.Conclusion:The therapeutic method of electro-acupuncture and improved manipulation is safe and effective.The method has great advantage in improving efficacy,reducing pain of patients and recovering of lumbar spine.
